Christians are absolutely against abortion for at least three reasons:
1) Life is sacred, image of God. “If anyone sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in his image.” Genesis 9.6
2) Human life has priority over others. “Whoever kills someone will be killed. But whoever kills an animal will pay it back like for like” Leviticus 24:17,18
3) Life begins with fertilization. “My bones were not hidden from you, when I was formed in secret, and knit together as in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me as the still unformed substance” Psalm 139:15,16
