1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scorners.

2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and he meditates on his law day and night.

3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which in due season yields its fruit, and whose leaf does not wither; and everything he does will be successful.

4. The wicked are not like that; But they are like chaff that the wind scatters.

5. Therefore the wicked will not prevail in judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
