If you really want to know what it's like to be an #empowered woman, read and study the Bible. As a suggestion, dedicate time to #Ester's book!

She received from God the power to become QUEEN. Through her, He influenced a pagan king and, moreover, saved an entire nation, which had been unjustly condemned to death! (Esther 3:7-15)

Among other things, you will notice as you read that Esther knew that her empowerment came solely FROM GOD-not from a human ideology:

"Then Esther asked them to take this reply to Mordecai: 'Go and gather all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink anything for three days, night or day. Me and my female servants we will also fast. Then I will go and speak to the king, though it is against the law; if I must die, I will die.'" (Esther 4:15,16).

Realize? Ester was a woman OF FAITH AND PRAYER, and very consecrated. And there is no more power than a life of communion with the Source of all love and power - #God.

This can be seen when she risked her life to save her people: "Afterwards, I will go and speak to the king, even though it is against the law; if I have to die, I will die." (Esther 4:16)

Do you know any feminist authors as empowered as Ester?

In addition, in the book of Esther you also learn that negative experiences with the male figure do not need to be TRANSFERRED. After all, Esther was loved and well-raised by her cousin Mordecai, after being orphaned by her father and mother (Esther 2:7).

And this "father" who always took care of her, didn't think twice before obeying her cousin queen's order. After all, he knew that, even though he was much younger, she was too wise not to be heard:

"So Mordecai went and did whatever Esther had commanded him." (Esther 4:17)
