UNEQUAL YOKE

DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR FAMILY

4 The woman does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband does not have power over his own body, but the wife does.

5 Deprive not one another, except by mutual consent for a season, to apply yourselves to fasting and prayer; and then come together again, lest Satan tempt you for your incontinence.

6 But I say this as if by permission and not by command.

7 For I would have all men to be like myself; but each has his own gift from God, one in one way and another in another.

8 But I say to single men and widows, it is good for them if they remain like me.

9 But if you can't help it, get married. Because it is better to marry than to burn.

10 However, to those who are married, I command, not I but the Lord, that the woman does not separate from her husband.

11 If, however, she separates, let her remain unmarried, or let her be reconciled with her husband; and let the husband not leave his wife.

12 But to the others I say, not the Lord: If any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she consents to dwell with him, let him not leave her.

13 And if any woman has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by his wife; and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by her husband; otherwise your children would be filthy; but now they are saints.

DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN WITH YOUR SPOUSE?

DID YOU SEPARATE BODYLY?

Read the biblical guidance:

1 Corinthians 7

10 However, to those who are married, I command, not I but the Lord, that the woman does not separate from her husband.

11 But if she leaves, let her remain unmarried, or let her be reconciled with her husband; and let the husband not leave his wife.

Unequally yoked is a choice to be avoided...

  When you're single!

When you're dating and the different interests are noticeable!

How many goals are not the same!

If married, when realizing this unequal yoke, one must fight for the spouse for his conversion! If you separate for reasons of violence or an attempt on your life, you should not remarry.

  Biblical Reference:

1 Corinthians 7

1 Now concerning the things you wrote to me, it would be good for a man not to touch a woman;

2 But because of fornication, let each man have his own wife, and each woman have her own husband.

3 The husband pays due kindness to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.

4 The woman does not have power over her own body, but her husband does; and likewise the husband does not have power over his own body, but the wife does.

5 Deprive not one another, except by mutual consent for a season, to apply yourselves to fasting and prayer; and then come together again, lest Satan tempt you for your incontinence.
