THE GREAT TRIBULATION AND THE RETURN OF JESUS
You & I have learned wrong!
• The Church will experience the great tribulation;
• And the Rapture & the Return of Jesus will be in one event.
MATTHEW 24: 15-44
The Sermon Continues: The Great Tribulation
(Mark 13: 14-23 Lk 21: 20-24)
15 And when ye shall see that the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, is in the holy place; Who reads, answer;
16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
17 And let him that is upon the roof come not down to take anything out of his house;
18 And let him that is in the field go not back again to fetch his garments.
19 But woe unto the pregnant women and to those who give suck in those days!
20 And pray, that your flight may not be in the winter or the Sabbath;
21 For then shall be great affliction, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall there be.
22 And if those days were not abbreviated, no flesh would be saved; But for the sake of the elect shall those days be shortened.
23 And if any man say unto you, Behold, the Christ is here, or there, give him no credit;
24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall do great signs and wonders, and if possible they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you this.
26 If therefore they say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness, come not. Behold, he is in the house; Do not believe.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and is toward the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For where the corpse is, there shall the eagles be gathered together.
The sermon goes on. The coming of the Son of Man
(Mark 13: 24-27 Lk 21: 25-28)
29 And immediately after the affliction of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 Then shall the sign of the Son of man appear in heaven; And all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a loud trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
(RAPTURE)
(Mark 13: 28-37 Lk 21: 29-36)
32 And learn this parable of the fig tree: When the branches thereof are tender, and leaves spring forth, ye know that the summer is nigh.
33 Likewise, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the gates.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
The sermon continues: Exhortation to vigilance
36 But of that day and hour no man knoweth, neither the angels of heaven, but only my Father.
37 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days before the flood they ate, and drank, and married, and were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39 And they did not perceive it, until the flood came, and brought them all, so will also the coming of the Son of man.
40 And two being in the field, one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 And two shall be grinding in the mill, and one shall be taken, and another shall be left.
42 Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord shall come.
43 But consider this: if the householder knew what watch the thief was to come in the night, he would watch and not let his house be destroyed.
44 Therefore be ye also mindful; For the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
MARK 13: 14-37
The prophetic sermon continues. The Great Tribulation
(Mt 24: 15-28 Lk 21: 20-24)
14 Now when ye shall see the abomination of the desolation, which was preached by Daniel the prophet, where he ought not to be (he that readeth, understand), then let them which are in Judaea flee into the mountains.
15 And let him that is on the roof go not down to the house, nor go in to take any thing out of his house;
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back to take his clothes.
17 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give birth in those days!
18 Pray, therefore, that your flight may not be in the winter.
19 For in those days shall there be such a affliction, which was not from the beginning of creation, which God created until now, nor ever shall be.
20 And if the Lord did not abbreviate those days, no flesh would be saved; But for the elect's sake he chose, he shortened those days.
21 And then if any man say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; Or: There it is; Do not believe.
22 For false Christs and false prophets will rise and do signs and wonders to deceive, if it be possible, even the elect.
23 But see ye; Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
The prophetic sermon continues. The coming of the Son of Man
(Mt 24: 29-45 Lk 21: 25-44), (Mt 24: 29-31 Lk 21: 25-28)
24 Now in those days, after that affliction, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.
25 And the stars will fall from the sky, and the forces that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And he shall send forth his angels, and shall gather his elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth unto the uttermost part of heaven.
(Mt 24: 32-44 Lk 21: 29-36)
28 And learn the parable of the fig tree: When the branch thereof is tender, and the leaves spring forth, ye know that the summer is near.
29 So you also, when you see these things happen, know that it is near at hand.
30 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
The prophetic sermon continues. Surveillance
32 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, neither the angels which are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
33 Behold, watch and pray; Because you do not know when the time will come.
34 It is as if a man departing from the earth forsaken his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore, because ye know not when the master of the house cometh; If at evening, if at midnight, if at the cock crowing, if in the morning,
36 That he come suddenly, and find him not sleeping.
37 And the things which I tell you, I say unto all: Watch.
Luke 21: 20-33
The prophetic sermon continues: the great tribulation
(Mt 24: 15-28 Mk 13: 14-23)
20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is come.
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; Let them which are in the midst of the city go out; And those in the fields do not enter it.
22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give birth in those days! For there shall be a great straitness in the earth, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all nations; And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles shall be fulfilled.
The prophetic sermon continues: the return of the Son of Man
(Mt 24: 29-31 Mark 13: 24-27)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; And in the earth anguish of the nations, in perplexity by the roaring of the sea and the waves.
26 Men fainting from terror, in expectation of things to come to the world; For the virtues of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is at hand.
(Mt 24: 32-44 Mark 13: 28-37)
29 And he spake unto them a parable, Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they have already burst, you know for yourselves, seeing them, that summer is near.
31 So you also, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away until all things be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
II THESSALONIANS 2: 1-17
The coming of Christ will be preceded by manifestations of the Antichrist
1 Now, brethren, we beseech you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our meeting with him,
(ROLLING AND RETURNING OF JESUS IN ONE EVENT)
2 That ye be not easily moved out of your mind, neither be dismayed, either by spirit, or by word, or epistle, as of us, as though the day of Christ were near.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means; Because it will not be so unless apostasy comes first, and the man of sin, the son of perdition,
4 Who opposeth, and riseth up against all that is called God, or worshipeth; So that he will sit, as God, in the temple of God, wanting to look like God.
5 Do you not remember that these things were saying to you while I was yet with you?
6 And now ye know that which hinder him, that he may be made manifest in his own time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness worketh; There is only one who now resists until the middle is taken away;
8 And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall melt by the breath of his mouth, and he shall utterly destroy for the splendor of his coming;
9 To him whose coming is according to the efficacy of Satan, with all power, and signs and wonders of lying,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness to them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth to be saved.
11 And therefore God will send them the work of error, that they may believe a lie;
12 So that all who did not believe the truth might be judged, but had pleasure in iniquity.
13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the LORD, because God hath chosen you from the beginning to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit, and faith of the truth;
14 To him who called you by our gospel, that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Now, brethren, stand fast and keep the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word or by our epistle.
16 And our Lord Jesus Christ himself and our God and Father, who loved us, and in grace gave us eternal consolation and good hope,
17 Comfort your hearts and confirm you in every good word and deed.
PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL THOSE YOU KNOW. THANK YOU.
