The book of life represents the list of all people who go to Heaven. Everyone whose name is written in the book of life will have eternal life. But whoever does not have his name in the book will go to the lake of fire. To have your name in the book of life you have to repent of sin, accepting Jesus as your savior. God will reward those who are faithful to the end with eternal life.
