DO NOT FEAR! BELIEVE ONLY!

MANY TIMES, WHEN WE GO THROUGH ADVERSITIES, STORMY WAVES, BAD DAY, DARK NIGHT, WE PLACE ALL OUR HOPE IN JESUS, WHO IS IN OUR BOAT, WE BELIEVE THAT! AT THIS TIME, OTHERS ARE ALSO CRYING TO THE MASTER, NEEDING A MIRACLE AND ARE BLESSED FIRST THAN WE. CLOSE TO THE MIRACLE., CONFIDENT, WE ARE OFTEN SURPRISED BY CONTRARY VOICES SAYING: DO NOT BOTHER THE MASTER ANYMORE!, THE GIRL IS DEAD! THAT IS, THE MIRACLE IS NOT POSSIBLE! JESUS CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE! YOU LOST! IT LOOKS LIKE THE BOAT IS GOING TO SINCE THE DEVIL'S LIE!!!!!

THESE ARE DEMONIC VOICES TO UNDERMINE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS! DECIDE NOT TO HEAR THEM!!! JESUS IS TELLING YOU: DO NOT FEAR ONLY BELIEVE!!!!!

Mark 5:21-43

21 Jesus returned to the west side of the lake, and many people came to meet him on the shore.

22 A man named Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, went and fell at Jesus' feet,

23 asking with great insistence: —My daughter is dying! Come with me and lay your hands on her so she will heal and live!

24 And Jesus went with him. A large crowd came along and pressed in on him from all sides.

25 A woman arrived there who had been bleeding for twelve years.

26 She had spent everything she had, treating herself to many doctors. These made her suffer a lot; but instead of getting better, she had gotten worse and worse.

27 She had heard about Jesus; then she entered the midst of the crowd and, coming up behind him, touched his cloak,

28 her because she thought like this: “If I just touch his cloak, I will be healed. ”

29 Soon the blood stopped flowing, and she was sure she was healed.

30 Immediately Jesus felt that power had gone out of him. Then he turned in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my cloak?"

31 The disciples replied, "Do you see how these people are squeezing you from all sides and you still ask this?"

32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.

33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, threw herself at his feet, trembling with fear, and told him everything.

34 And Jesus said, “My daughter, you got well because you had faith. Go in peace; you are free from your suffering.

35 While Jesus was still speaking, some servants from Jairus' house arrived and said, "Your Jairus, the girl is already dead." Don't bother the Master anymore.

36 But Jesus did not care about the news and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; have faith!

37 Jesus let Peter and the brothers James and John go with him, and no one else.

38 When they entered Jairus' house, Jesus found there a general confusion, with everyone crying and screaming.

39 Then he said, “Why so much crying and so much confusion? The girl did not die; she is sleeping.

40 Then they began to make fun of him. But Jesus ordered them all to leave and, together with the three disciples and the girl's parents, went into the room where she was.

41 He took her by the hand and said: — “Talitá cumi! ” (This means, “Girl, I say to you: Get up!” )

42 Immediately, the girl, who was twelve years old, got up and began to walk. And everyone was very surprised.

43 Then Jesus ordered them not to spread the news of this healing at all. And he ordered them to give the girl food.

And when Jesus was again passing by in a boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to him; and he was by the sea.

And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue, named Jairus, arrived, and when he saw him, he fell down at his feet.

And he besought him much, saying, My daughter is at death; I beg you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed and live.

And he went with him, and a great multitude followed him, and pressed him.

And a certain woman who had had an issue of blood for twelve years,

And that she had suffered a lot with many doctors, and spent all she had, profiting nothing from it, before going worse;

Hearing about Jesus, she came from behind in the crowd and touched his garment.

For he said: If I only touch his garments, I shall be healed.

And then the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was already cured of that evil.

And immediately Jesus, knowing that his virtue had gone out, turned to the crowd, and said, Who touched my clothes?

And his disciples said to him, You see the crowd pressing you, and you say, Who touched me?

And he looked around to see what it had done.

Then the woman, who knew what had happened to her, fearing and trembling, came and fell down before him, and told him the whole truth.

And he said to her: Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.

While he was still speaking, there came some of the ruler of the synagogue, to whom they said, Your daughter is dead; Why do you annoy the Master more?

And Jesus, having heard these words, said to the ruler of the synagogue: Fear not, only believe.

And he did not allow anyone to follow him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

And when he had come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, he saw the commotion, and those who were weeping much and mourning.

And going in, he said to them, Why do you fuss and weep? The girl is not dead, but she sleeps.

And they laughed at him; but when he had brought them out, he took the girl's father and mother with him, and those who were with him, and went in where the girl was lying.

And taking the girl's hand, he said to her: Talitha cumi; which, translated, is: Girl, I say to you, get up.

And immediately the girl arose, and she walked, for she was twelve years old; and they were astonished with great astonishment.

And she expressly commanded them that no one should know; and he said to give him something to eat.

DID YOU KNOW?

WHAT JESUS SAYS ABOUT EVIL POSSESSION...

THE DEVIL EXISTS AND WORKS 24 HOURS A DAY AGAINST HUMAN BEINGS, ESPECIALLY THE CHRISTIAN, BECAUSE HIS TARGET IS TO REMOVE HIM (A) FROM THE CREATOR. AS CO-OPERATORS, THE DEVIL HAS EVIL SPIRITS (DEMONS), THESE ENTER PEOPLE. THIS IS UNQUESTIONABLE! THE BIBLE CITES MANY EXAMPLES, SOME DESCRIBED BELOW. THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE OF THE SIN INTRINSIC TO HUMAN BEINGS SINCE EDEN AND, FOR THE SINS BY THEM, PRACTICED... DIFFERENT FROM THE CREATOR SATAN IS ABUSED, INTRUJOUS, OPPORTUNISTIC AND DECEIVED. SATAN WILL ALWAYS LOOK FOR AN OCCASION TO DESTRUCTION LIVES, FAMILIES, AND WHERE HE HAS OPPORTUNITY AND LEGALITY FOR SIN, HE WILL ACT TO DESTROY! THE SOLUTION FOR THIS NOT TO HAPPEN IS TO OCCUPY THE EMPTY AND ORNATE PLACE (HEART) BY THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THROUGH REPENTANCE, DELIVERY AND PRACTICE OF SANCTIFICATION BY FAITH, PRAYER, READING OF THE SACRED SCRIPTURES AND PRACTICE OF THE GOSPEL! THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE PROBLEMS, ON THE OTHERWISE, THEY WILL INCREASE BUT, YOU WILL BE EMPOWERED AND EXERCISED BY THE ARMOR OF GOD: NECESSARY TO FIGHT THE FLAMMABLE DARTS OF THE DEVIL, THE ENEMY OF OUR SOULS.

1 Peter 5:8

8 Be alert and watch. The Devil, your enemy, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

MATTHEW 12:43-45

Return of the Evil Spirit

43 Jesus continued, “When an evil spirit comes out of someone, it walks through places without water, looking for a place to rest, but it doesn't find it. 44 Then he says, "I'm going back to my house, where I came from." Then he comes back and finds the house empty, clean and tidy. 45 Then he leaves, goes to get seven other spirits even worse, and they all live there. So that person's situation is worse than before. And that will also happen to these evil people today.

LUKE 11:14-23

The Power of Jesus to Cast Out Demons

Matthew 12:22-32; Mark 3.20-30

14 Jesus was casting out a demon from a certain man that would not let him speak. When the demon left, the man began to speak. The crowd was astonished, 15 but some said:

“It is Beelzebub, the chief of demons, who gives this man power to cast out demons.

16 Others, wanting to get some proof against Jesus, asked him to perform a miracle to show that his power came from God. 17 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said:

— A country that is divided into groups that fight among themselves will surely be destroyed; the family that divides into groups that fight each other will also be destroyed. 18 If Satan's kingdom has groups that fight among themselves, how will it continue to exist? You say that it is Beelzebub who gives me the power to cast out demons. 19 But if so, who gives your followers the power to cast out demons? So your own followers prove you completely wrong. 20 Indeed, it is by the power of God that I cast out demons, and this proves that the kingdom of God has come to you.

21. When a strong and well-armed man guards his own house, everything he has is safe. 22 But when a stronger man attacks and defeats him, he takes all the weapons that the other trusted and divides everything he took from him.

23 — Whoever is not for me is against me; and whoever does not help me gather is scattering.

24 Jesus continued:

— When an evil spirit leaves someone, it walks through places without water, looking for a place to rest, but it doesn't find it. Then he says, "I'm going back to my house, where I came from." 25 Then he comes back and finds the house swept and tidy. 26 Then he goes out and goes to get seven other, worse spirits, and they all live there. So that person's situation is worse than before.

LUKE 22:3-6

Judas betrays Jesus

Matthew 26:14-16; Mark 14.10-11

3 Then Satan entered into Judas, called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples. 4 Judas went to speak with the chief priests and the officers of the Temple guard to arrange how he was going to deliver Jesus to them. 5They were overjoyed and promised to give him money. 6 Judas accepted and began to look for an opportunity to deliver Jesus to them, without the people knowing.

MATTHEW 8:28-34

Jesus heals two demon-ridden men

Mark 5:1-20; Luke 8.26-39

28 When Jesus arrived in the region of Gadara, on the east side of Lake Galilee, two men who were possessed by demons met him. They came from the cemetery, where they were living. They were so violent and dangerous that no one dared to go that way. started screaming:

"Son of God, what do you want from us?" Did you come here to punish us ahead of time?

30 It so happened that there were many pigs eating nearby. 31 And the demons asked Jesus earnestly:

"If you're going to kick us out, send us into those pigs!"

32 — Well, go! said Jesus.

The demons went and entered the pigs, and the pigs threw themselves down the hill into the lake and drowned.

33 The men who were tending the pigs fled and came to the city. There they told all this and also what had happened to the two men who were dominated by demons. 34 Then all the inhabitants of that city went out to meet Jesus; and when they found him, they begged him earnestly to depart from their land.

MARK 9:14-29

The healing of a boy

Matthew 17:14-20; Luke 9.37-43a

14 When they approached the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and some teachers of the Law arguing with them. 15 When the people saw Jesus, they were all astonished and immediately ran to greet him. 16Jesus asked the disciples,

“What are you discussing with them?

17 A man in the crowd replied,

— Master, I brought my son to you, because he is dominated by an evil spirit and cannot speak. 18 Whenever the spirit attacks my son, it throws him to the ground, and he starts foaming and gnashing his teeth; and he is getting weaker and weaker. I have already asked the Lord's disciples to cast out the spirit, but they could not.

19 Jesus said:

— People without faith! How long will I stay with you? How long will I have to put up with them? Bring the boy here.

20 When they took him away, the spirit saw Jesus and shook the boy hard. He fell and began to roll on the floor, foaming at the mouth.

21 Then Jesus asked his father,

"How long has your son been like this?"

The father replied:

“He's been like this since he was little. 22 Often the spirit throws him into fire and water to kill him. But if you can, then help us. Have pity on us!

23 Jesus replied:

- If I can? Everything is possible for those who have faith.

24 Then the father cried out:

- I have faith! Help me to have even more faith!

25 When Jesus saw that many people were gathering around him, he commanded the evil spirit:

"Deaf-mute spirit, get out of that boy and never enter him again!"

26 The spirit screamed, shook the boy and came out of him, leaving him for dead. That's why everyone said he was dead. 27 But Jesus took the boy by the hand and helped him to his feet.

28 When Jesus entered the house, his disciples asked him privately,

“Why couldn't we drive out that spirit?

29 Jesus replied:

“This kind of spirit can only be driven out with prayer.

10 strategies of Satan against your life!

“… so that Satan may not gain an advantage over us, for we are not ignorant of his designs”. (2 Corinthians 2:11)

One of the most serious facts about life is that all human beings have a supernatural enemy that aims to use pain and pleasure to make us blind, foolish and miserable – eternally. The Bible identifies him as “the great dragon, that serpent of old, which is called the devil and Satan the deceiver” (Revelation 12:9-10), “the prince of this world” (John 12:31), and “the god of this age” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

He is our “adversary, prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Yet in the most terrifying kind of bondage there is, the whole world follows “the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2). He succeeds in making his subjects march towards destruction, and they take as many people with them as possible.

The “good fight” (1 Timothy 1:18) includes daily resisting this enemy (1 Peter 5:9; James 4:7), daily refusing to give way to him (Ephesians 4:17), and daily opposing their snares (Ephesians 6:11).

Satan's Collar – And Impending Doom

God is sovereign over Satan. The devil has no carte blanche to do whatever he wants in this world. He's on a leash and can't do anything that God doesn't allow. Indeed, he needs to receive authorization – as in the case of Simon Imprisoned that Jesus revealed: “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, that he may sift you as wheat!” (Luke 22:31) And the case of Job: “The LORD said to Satan, Behold, he is in your power; but spare his life.” (Job 2:6)

So, God evidently sees Satan's role as essential to his purposes in the world, for if God willed, Satan would be thrown into the lake of fire now and not just at the end of the age. “The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire… and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). He will certainly be completely defeated, but the time has not yet come.

Involuntary servant of our sanctification

God wants war with hell to be part of our preparations for Heaven. It is what we call “a good fight” (1 Timothy 1:18) and “a good fight” (1 Timothy 6:12). It is not good because we may die (it is a real possibility! - Revelation 2:10), but because these fire fights refine the gold of our faith (1 Peter 1:7), in life and in death.

God is the great General of this war. He gave us the prayer to cry out for help: “Take . . . the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and supplication, praying at all times” (Ephesians 6:17-18).

He sees what happens in enemy territory, knows the exact strategies that will be used against us, and has written them down in a war manual "lest Satan gain an advantage over us." The reason Satan will not gain an advantage over us is that “we are not ignorant of his counsels” (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Summary of Satan's Designs

If you need to remember what those “designs” are, here's a summary. May God make you a mighty warrior! “Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for battle and my fingers for war” (Psalm 144:1).

1. Satan lies and is the father of lies.

“When he speaks a lie, he speaks out of his own accord, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). In Satan's first appearance in the Bible in Genesis 3, the first words on his lips cast suspicion against the truth ("Is this how God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"). After that, his words were a subtle lie (“You shall not surely die”). John says that Satan “never stood on the truth, because there is no truth in him” (John 8:44). We are dealing with the essence of lying and deceit.

2. He blinds the minds of unbelievers.

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ cannot shine to them” (2 Corinthians 4:4). So he doesn't just speak lies. He hides the truth. It prevents us from seeing the treasure of the gospel. It allows us to see the facts, even the evidence, but not the gem.

3. He hides behind a fantasy of light and justice.

In 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Paul says that some people identify themselves as apostles without really being. He explains the following: “Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. It is not much, then, that his own ministers become ministers of justice.”

In other words, Satan has servants who profess enough of the truth to enter the church and, within the church, teach what Paul calls “doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1). Jesus says they will be like wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15). Acts 20:30 says that they will not spare the flock, but will drag people down to destruction. Without God's gift of discernment (Philippians 1:9), our love will degenerate into stupidity.

4. Satan works signs and wonders.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:9, the last days are described as follows: "The coming of the wicked one according to the working of Satan shall be with all power, and signs, and lying wonders." This is my strange translation. Some translate it as "false signs and wonders." But this makes the signs and wonders seem unreal. In fact, some argue that Satan is only capable of performing false miracles. I doubt it. But even if that were true, his fake miracles would be good enough to make them seem real to most people.

One reason I doubt that Satan is only capable of performing false miracles is that, in Matthew 24:24, Jesus describes the last days as follows: “False christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect themselves. There is no indication that these “signs and wonders” will be gimmicks.

May your confidence be grounded in something far deeper than any supposed inability of Satan to perform signs and wonders. Signs and wonders performed in the service of anti-Christian statements are not capable of proving anything, even when performed "in the name of Jesus." “Lord, Lord! Have we not performed many miracles in your name?” And Jesus will answer: “I never knew you. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22-23). The problem was not that the signs and wonders weren't real, but that they were in the service of sin.

5. Satan tempts people to sin.

That's what he did with Jesus in the wilderness, but it didn't succeed – he wanted Jesus to abandon the path of suffering and obedience (Matthew 4:1-11). That's what he did with Judas and he was successful in the last hours of Jesus' life (Luke 22:3-6). And in 2 Corinthians 11:3, Paul warned all believers of this possibility: “But I am afraid, lest, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds also may be corrupted from the simplicity and purity due to Christ".

6. Satan takes the Word of God out of people's hearts and suffocates faith.

Jesus told the parable of the four soils in Mark 4:1-9. In this parable, the Word of God is sown and some fell by the wayside and the birds came and devoured it. He explains in verse 15, "Then Satan comes and takes away the word sown in them." Satan steals the Word because he hates the faith that the Word produces (Romans 10:17).

Paul expressed his concern for the faith of the Thessalonians in the following way: “That is why, when I could no longer wait, I sent to inquire about the state of your faith, fearing that the tempter would test you, and that our labor would become useless.” (1 Thessalonians 3:5). Paul knew that Satan's goal was to stifle the faith of people who had heard the Word of God.

7. Satan causes some sickness and disease.

Once, Jesus healed a woman who was bent over and couldn't straighten up. When some criticized Jesus for healing on the Sabbath, he replied: “Why should this daughter of Abraham not be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day, whom Satan had bound for eighteen years?” (Luke 13:16) Jesus saw Satan as the one who had caused this illness.

In Acts 10:38, Peter described Jesus as the one who “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.” In other words, the devil often oppresses people with infirmities. This is also one of his designs.

But let him not make the mistake of claiming that all disease is the work of the devil. Of course, even when God prepares a “thorn in the flesh” to sanctify us, it is possible that he is also “the messenger of Satan” (2 Corinthians 12:7). But there are other situations in which the disease is entirely attributed to God without any reference to Satan: “Jesus answered, Neither he sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be made manifest in him.” (John 9:3) Jesus had no need to mention Satan as a participant in his merciful purposes.

8. Satan is a murderer.

Jesus said to those who planned to kill him, “You are of the devil, who is your father, and you want to fulfill his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he never stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks out of his own accord, because he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). John says, “not according to Cain, who was of the Evil One and murdered his sister; and why did he murder him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's works were righteous” (1 John 3:12). Jesus said to the blameless church in Smyrna, “Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison… Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).

In short, Satan is bloodthirsty. Christ came into the world that we might have life more abundantly (John 10:10). Satan comes to destroy as many lives as he can and to make them eternally miserable.

9. Satan fights the missionaries' plans.

Paul explains how his missionary plans were thwarted: “Now we, brethren, orphaned from your presence for a short time, but not from the heart, with all the more earnestness endeavored, with great desire, to come and see you in person… , Satan has barred our way” (1 Thessalonians 2:17-18). Satan hates evangelism and discipleship, and he strives to put as many obstacles as possible in the way of missionaries and those who have a zeal for evangelism.

10. Satan accuses Christians before God.

Revelation 12:10 says, “Then I heard a loud voice from heaven proclaiming, Now is come salvation, and power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren, who accuses them day and night before our God.” Satan's defeat is certain. But his accusations did not stop.

The same thing happens to us as it happened to Job. Satan speaks to God against us, They don't really love you; they love your benefits. “But stretch out your hand, and touch all that he has, and see if he does not blaspheme you to your face” (Job 1:11). Their faith is not real. Satan accuses us before God as he did Job. But it is a glorious thing that the followers of Jesus have an advocate who “always lives to intercede for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

Satan Will Not Win

These are some of Satan's designs. The way to victory in this war is to persevere in Christ, who has already dealt the decisive blow to Satan.

o “He who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)

o "Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood in common, he also likewise partook of these, so that through his death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil." (Hebrews 2:14)

o “…and having spoiled principalities and powers, he publicly exposed them to contempt, triumphing over them in the cross.” (Colossians 2:15) In other words, the decisive blow came at Calvary.

o “No one can enter a strong man's house to steal his goods, without first tying him up; and only then will he plunder his house.” (Mark 3:27)

Revelation 20:10 says that one day the war will come to an end: "The devil... [will be] cast into the lake of fire and brimstone... and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (See Matthew 8:29; 25:41).

resist!

James says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). How can we do that? In Revelation 12:11, it was as follows: "They therefore overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and even in the face of death did not love life itself." They embraced Christ's triumph through his blood. They proclaimed this truth by faith. They did not fear death. And they triumphed.

The New Testament highlights prayer as the main accompaniment to every battle. “Take also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and supplication, praying at all times in the Spirit, and to this end being watchful with all perseverance and supplication.” (Ephesians 6:17-18)

As the end of the ages approaches and Satan’s fury increases, Jesus calls us to war in prayer: “Watch therefore, praying always, that ye may be able to escape all these things that must come to pass, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). Similarly, Peter makes an urgent appeal to prayer at the end of time: “Now the end of all things is at hand; therefore be judicious and sober for the sake of your prayers” (1 Peter 4:7).

Even Jesus used the weapon of prayer to fight the devil for us. He told Peter in Luke 22:31-32, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, that he may sift you as wheat! But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not” (Luke 22:31-32). So Jesus opposes a specific satanic threat through prayer and that sets an example for us.

And, of course, Jesus instructed us to make prayer a daily weapon for general protection: “And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil” (Matthew 6:13). That is, deliver us from the successful temptation of the evil one. Do you confront the devil's designs through the power of focused, persevering prayer?

No Neutrality

The question is not whether you want to participate in this war. Everyone participates. Either we are defeated by the devil and follow “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) like cattle to the slaughter, or we resist—“resist him in the faith” (1 Peter 5:9).

There is no neutrality. Either you triumph "because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of the testimony," or you will be enslaved by Satan. Therefore, “share in sufferings as a good soldier of Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:3) and “fight the good fight” (1 Timothy 1:18). Pray without ceasing!

The Lord is no less a warrior today than in ancient times. So again I implore you: come to him from the heart as soldiers of the Prince of Peace and learn to say, he “trains his hands for battle” (Psalm 144:1).

A LIVING FAITH IS ACCOMPANIED BY GOOD WORKS...

WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH AND NOT BY WORKS BUT, A FAITH WITHOUT WORKS: IT IS DEAD!

WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, WE ARE UNDER GRACE. HOWEVER, THAT DOES NOT EXCLUDE US FROM PRACTICING JESUS' COMMANDMENTS IN OUR DAILY LIVES. WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH IN JESUS, BUT A FAITH TO BE ALIVE! COMES WITH GOOD WORKS, OTHERWISE IT IS DEAD! READ THE WHOLE STUDY FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND. THANKFUL.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Galatians 2:16 we are fully aware, however, that man cannot be justified by keeping the Law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, we also came to believe in Christ Jesus in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not at all by keeping the Law, since it is certain that by keeping the Law no one will be able to be justified.

Hebrews 9:1-25

1 The first covenant had laws about worship and also had a sanctuary built by human beings where God was worshiped.

2 A tent was pitched, divided into two parts. At the front, called the Holy Place, were the lampstand and the table with the bread offered to God.

3 Behind the second curtain was the part that was called the Most Holy Place.

4 There was placed the golden altar where the incense was burned, and also the ark of the covenant, all covered with gold. Inside the ark were the golden bowl of manna, Aaron's rod from which sprouts had sprouted, and the two stone tablets with the commandments written on them.

5 On top of the ark, representing the Divine Presence, were the cherubs, with their wings spread over the place where sins were forgiven. But now is not the time to explain the details of these things.

6 After all this has been prepared, the priests enter the front of the Tent, which is the Holy Place, every day to carry out their religious duties.

7 But only the High Priest enters the back, which is the Most Holy Place, and that only once a year. He offers to God the blood of animals, in favor of himself and also for the sins that the people committed without knowing that they were sinning.

8 Through all this the Holy Spirit teaches us very clearly that the entrance to the Most Holy Place has not yet been opened while the front part, which is the Holy Place, continues to be used.

9 This is a symbol for today. It means that the offerings and animal sacrifices offered to God do not make the hearts of the people who worship him perfect.

10 These offerings and sacrifices have to do only with food, drink, and various purification ceremonies. They are external rules that have value only until God renews all things.

11 But Christ came as the High Priest of the good things that are already here. The tent in which he serves is better and more perfect and not built by human beings, that is, not of this world.

12 When Christ came and entered, once for all, the Most Holy Place, he did not take with him the blood of goats or calves to offer as a sacrifice. On the contrary, he offered his own blood and obtained eternal salvation for us.

13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a burned calf are sprinkled on unclean people, and they are purified on the outside.

14 If this is so, then imagine how much greater is the power of the blood of Christ! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself to God as a faultless sacrifice. And his blood cleanses us from within, taking away our guilt; so we can serve the living God, for we no longer practice worthless ceremonies.

15 Therefore, it is Christ who succeeds in making a new covenant, so that those who have been called by God may receive the eternal blessings that God himself has promised. This can be done because there was a death that freed people from the sins they practiced while the first covenant was in effect.

16 Where there is a will, it is necessary to prove that the person who made it has died.

17 For a testament is worth nothing while the one who made it is alive; only after the death of that person does the will have value.

18 That is why the first covenant came into force only with the use of the blood of animals.

19 First, Moses told the people all the commandments as they were in the law. Then he took the blood of the calves and goats, mixed it with water, and sprinkled the book of the law and all the people, using wool dyed red and hyssop.

20 Then he said, “This is the blood that seals the covenant, which God commanded you to obey. ”

21 In the same way Moses also sprinkled blood on the Tent and on all the objects used in worship.

22 In fact, according to the law, almost everything is cleansed with blood. And if there is no shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins.

23 These things, which were copies of heavenly realities, were to be purified in this way; but the heavenly things themselves demand far better sacrifices.

24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

25 God offered him as a sacrifice for atonement through faith, through his blood, demonstrating his righteousness. In his forbearance he had left the sins previously committed unpunished;

26 but at present he has demonstrated his righteousness, that he might be just and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.

JAMES 2:1-26

Equal treatment for all

1 My brothers, you who believe in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, never treat people differently because of their appearance. 2 For example, a man with gold rings and well-dressed enters your meeting, and another, poor and wearing old clothes, enters. 3 Let's say you treat the well-dressed better and say, “This is the best place; sit here", but they say to the poor man, "Stand up" or "Sit there on the floor, close to my feet." 4 Then you are making a difference among yourselves, and you are relying on bad motives to judge the worth of others.

5 Listen, my dear brothers! God chose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and to possess the Kingdom that he promised to those who love him. 6 Yet you despise the poor. Is it not the rich who exploit you and drag you off to be tried in the courts? 7 They are the ones who speak evil of the good name that God has given you.

8 If you obey the law of the Kingdom, you are doing what you must, for in the Holy Scriptures it is written: “Love others as you love yourself.” 9 But if you treat people by appearance, you are sinning, and the law condemns you as guilty. 10 For whoever breaks one commandment of the law is guilty of breaking all of them. 11For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not kill.” Even if you do not commit adultery, you will be guilty of breaking the law if you kill yourself. 12Speak and live like people who will be judged by the law that gives us freedom. 13 When God judges, he will not show mercy to people who have not shown mercy to others. But people who had mercy on others will not be condemned on Judgment Day.

faith and action

14 My brethren, what good is it for someone to say that he has faith if it is not accompanied by actions? Can this faith save him? 15 For example, there may be brothers or sisters who need clothing and who have nothing to eat. 16 If you don't give them what they need to live, it's no use saying, “God bless you! Wear warm clothes and eat well.” 17 So faith is like this: if it is not accompanied by actions, it is dead.

18 But someone may say, “You have faith, and I have deeds.” And I answer, “Then show me how it is possible to have faith without it being accompanied by actions. I will show you my faith through my actions.” 19 Do you believe that there is only one God? Excellent! Demons also believe and tremble in fear. 20 You fool! I will prove to you that faith without actions is worth nothing. 21 How was our ancestor Abraham accepted by God? That's what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar. 22 See how your faith and your actions worked together. Through your actions, your faith was made complete. 23 This is what the Holy Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and therefore God accepted him.” And Abraham was called "God's friend." 24 So you see that a person is accepted by God through his actions and not by faith alone.

25 This is what happened to Rahab the prostitute when she lodged the Israelite spies and helped them out of the city by another way. God accepted her for what she did.

26 Therefore, as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without actions is also dead.

JESUS CAN SET YOU FREE!!!!

GOD DID NOT CALL YOU TO BE A SLAVE TO ADDICTION!

God created us for freedom in Christ. From the beginning of creation, He commanded man to rule over plants, animals and everything on the face of the earth. Unfortunately, with the fall and the arrival of sin, human beings have allowed themselves to be enslaved by all kinds of addictions and compulsions.

Drugs are one of the Evil One's strategies to kill, steal and destroy lives, families and dreams. Illicit substances (natural or synthetic), even the most common and permitted ones such as alcohol and cigarettes, can act in the body as stimulants, or disturbing/hallucinogens or as tranquilizers, and cause serious dependence in their users. Added to this evil obedience, other problems such as violence, abuse, abandonment, loneliness and spiritual emptiness will be associated.

Don't be overcome by evil... Drugs imprison you on a physiological, psychological and spiritual level. The Bible, however, shows us that there is a way out: in Jesus Christ we can be freed from all kinds of dependence. He wants you to be sober, to be someone authentic and free. And we achieve true freedom when we serve the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ.

We can only definitively abandon addiction when we humbly allow God to be Lord of our lives. The false sense of freedom you get from drugs doesn't compare to the true joy and peace you find in God.

The Word of God has the power to free the spirit, mind and heart of those who truly believe in the Lord. When we exchange our will for the will of God, we are no longer controlled by our bad impulses and desires and are guided by the Spirit of God.

Seek help! With God you can get out of this! It is not something automatic, but a process, a daily walk with Jesus and with his Word. Look for your family and a Christian church and ask for support. It is important to have people by your side on this journey. In addition, it will take time for the body to detoxify and rehabilitate itself again.

It is certain that, if you seek with faith and with all your heart, God will give you conditions to leave the addiction and help you to get back on your feet... Trust Him and seek to know Him through the Bible. By knowing the Truth, you will discover freedom in Christ, which will set you free from all kinds of drugs and addictions.

Note: You may need professional help on this walk to stay drug-free. God also uses health professionals to set you free, that's not a lack of faith.

Liberation from Drugs in the Bible:

Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free.

John 8:36

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, who was given to you by God, and you are not your own? You were bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God with your own body.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Be alert and watch. The Devil, your enemy, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:8

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest: sexual immorality, impurity and licentiousness; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before: Those who practice these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to men. And God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when they are tempted, he himself will provide a way of escape, that they may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 3:16

And they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free."

John 8:32

Wine is mocking

and the fermented drink provokes quarrels;

it is not wise to be dominated by them.

Proverbs 20:1

Whose are the woes?

Whose sorrows?

And the fights, whose are they?

And the unnecessary injuries?

Whose red eyes are they? Of those who linger drinking wine,

of those who are looking

of mixed drink. Don't be lured by wine

when it's red,

when it sparkles in the glass

and flows smoothly! In the end he bites like a serpent

and poisons like a viper. Your eyes will see strange things,

and your mind will imagine distorted things. you will be like who

sleep in the middle of the sea,

like someone who lies down

on top of the mast ropes. And he will say: "They beat me,

but I felt nothing!

They hit me, but I didn't even notice!

when will i wake up

so I can drink it again?"

Proverbs 23:29-35

Therefore, let us not sleep like others, but let us be alert and sober; for those who sleep sleep at night, and those who are drunk are drunk at night. But we who are of the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of the hope of salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:6-8

Woe to those who rise early

to get drunk,

and warm themselves with wine until night!

Isaiah 5:11

Be careful how you live; let it not be as foolish, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but seek to understand what the will of the Lord is. Do not get drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Ephesians 5:15-18

The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it to the full.

John 10:10

Promising them freedom, they themselves are slaves to corruption, for man is a slave to what dominates him.

2 Peter 2:19

Live as free people, but don't use freedom as an excuse to do evil; live as servants of God.

1 Peter 2:16

It was for freedom that Christ set us free. Therefore, stand firm and do not allow yourselves to be subjected again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

"The Spirit of the Lord

it's over me

because he anointed me

to preach good news

to the poor.

he sent me

to proclaim freedom

to the prisoners

and sight recovery

to the blind,

to free the oppressed

Luke 4:18

June 12th MAY NOT BE A FORNICATION DAY FOR YOU!

“For the works of the flesh are manifest, which are: adultery, fornication, impurity, lewdness, drunkenness, orgies, and the like, concerning which I declare to you, as I forewarned you, THAT THOSE WHO PRACTICE SUCH THINGS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” Galatians 5:19-21

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1st Corinthians 6:9-10

“Flee from sexual immorality! All other sins that a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit (or Holy Spirit), which dwells in you, and which you have received from God? The truth is, you are not your own, but you were bought with a high price (blood of Jesus). So use your body to glorify God.” 1st Corinthians 6:18-20

Sex with a boyfriend is fornication and fornicators have no part in the Kingdom of God. This is serious. It doesn't matter if it's normal in the soap opera, if it's normal in the movie or if it's normal in the whole world and everyone does it. For the Eternal is not, never was and never will be. That's why anyone who likes to live like the world is an ENEMY of GOD.

“Marriage must be honored in all respects; the marriage bed, kept pure. The Supreme YHWH will, without a shadow of a doubt, punish FORNICATORS and adulterers.” Hebrews 13:4

“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, lying and slander.” Matthew 15:19

“But as for the cowards, and unbelievers, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

“Dogs will be left out. sorcerers (and addicts to illicit and licit drugs), prostitutes (any relationship outside of marriage is prostitution), murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves and practices lying.” Revelation 22:15

"But to write to them to ABSTAIN... FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY." Acts 15:19

“TO ABSTAIN… FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY.” Acts 15:29

“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification: THAT YOU TURN AWAY FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY.” 1st Thessalonians 4:3

“For be assured of this: no SEXUALLY IMMORAL, UNCLEAN person… has no part in the Kingdom of God.” Ephesians 5:5

“Therefore, put to death the earthly parts of your nature: SEXUAL IMMORALITY, IMPURITITY, LAUGHTERY… Because of these things, the wrath of God is coming upon those who disobey him.” Colossians 3:5-6

ARE YOU SAVED IN JESUS?

LET'S DO OUR PART IN THE IDE OF JESUS!

2 Timothy 4:2

Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, rebuke, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Romans 10:14-16

But how will they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear if there is no one to preach? And how will they preach if they are not sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not everyone obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our preaching?”

And when Jesus came, he spoke to them, saying, All power in heaven and on earth is given to me.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit;

Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

Matthew 28:18-20
