*Psalms 41*
As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and you have set me before your face forever. Psalms 41:12
Interesting fact: David was sick, and his enemies expected him to be seriously ill. They were already rejoicing among themselves with the certainty that the illness was terminal. Another reason for David's sadness was the fact that one of the traitors had been a close friend of his in the past.
2- What this text teaches
V.1-3: David remembers that the Lord blesses those who help those in need (those who are weakened by ill health).
For David, it is comforting to know that he had followed the divine example by assisting, comforting and encouraging the sick. Now, he appropriates the promise
that the Lord would also deliver him in the day of evil.
David was certain that God would not deliver him into the hands of his enemies. Instead, He would give His servant all the grace he needed during his illness and then restore his health.
v.4-6: David presents his illness to God in prayer, confesses his sin and begs for healing as something he does not deserve.
Not all illness is a direct result of sin, as in the case of the elderly (it is part of the natural aging process).
But there is a direct connection between sin and illness and, in the slightest possibility of this being the case, the Christian must run to the presence of the Lord and confess his sin sincerely.
v.7-8: Many evil rumors were spreading, news that the illness was fatal and would lead to death. One of David's enemies had been his close friend. One of the greatest sorrows in life is to be betrayed by someone close to us. This is what Jesus felt when Judas betrayed him, and it is not an uncommon experience in the lives of those who follow the Master.
v.10: David turns to the Lord for mercy. David says, “Raise me up, that I may repay them as they deserve,” meaning that as king he had an obligation to suppress every attempt to overthrow his government. v.11-13 For David, the failure of his enemies’ schemes is a sign of God’s favor toward him. David was a man of integrity, despite his sins and weaknesses. Compared to his enemies, he was an example of virtue. It is quite possible that the Lord sustained him by seeing sincerity and righteousness in his life. God’s sustaining grace guarantees security for his life and a place in the presence of the heavenly King forever. Confident and serene, the psalmist raises his voice to bid farewell with a song of praise. Jehovah, the God of Israel who keeps his covenant, is worthy of worship from eternity to eternity. 3- How can we apply this in our lives David’s deliverance was a glimpse of the victory of Jesus, who defeated his enemies on the cross (Colossians 2:15). Peter said that God raised Jesus from the dead (Acts 2:24). Jesus won!
In Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors!
Our pains and afflictions bring us closer to God. God always hears our prayers.
We need to keep believing in Him.
4- Reflection Question
Have you taken everything to God in prayer?
Forgiveness is a clear command from Christ and a reflection of the love and grace we have received from God (Matthew 6:14-15). However, living with someone who continues to hurt and harm us repeatedly is not an obligation imposed by faith. The Bible teaches us to forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21-22), but it also calls us to act wisely and seek peace. In Proverbs 22:3, we are warned that “a prudent man foresees trouble and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.” Thus, we must be prudent in our relationships, avoiding situations that could cause us continued pain and distress.
Jesus, while forgiving, did not subject Himself to situations of continued mistreatment. He withdrew when He knew that His actions could result in immediate danger (John 8:59). Likewise, Paul instructs us in Romans 12:18, “If possible, as much as depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” This implies that, although peace is desirable, it is not always possible to maintain it, especially with those who insist on hurting us.
Repeatedly submitting ourselves to suffering is not part of God's plan for us. Forgiveness is essential and liberating, but continuing to live with someone who persists in causing us pain can be foolish. In 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Paul warns against those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, and instructs us to distance ourselves from such people. We must preserve our peace and well-being by avoiding abusive and destructive relationships, while continuing to demonstrate the love and mercy that Christ taught us. True forgiveness does not require us to put ourselves in situations of continuous hurt and suffering, but frees us to live in peace and prudence, reflecting divine wisdom in our lives.

Discipline...
Grace and Peace!
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
(Hebrews 12:11)
“...but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.”
Hebrews 12:10b
Considering what Scripture says in Hebrews 12:6a: “For the Lord disciplines those he loves…” it must be our total acceptance and submission that, as God desires for each of us, we receive his discipline. The discipline that comes from God is understood not only as an act of punishment or correction, but as a process of training, teaching, and directing to do what is right. Hebrews 12:5b says: “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or resent his rebuke,” but rather we should feel very loved and privileged, because the Lord is treating us as his children (Hebrews 12:7-8).
There is a very special and great purpose for which we are disciplined by the Lord, and that is so that we may participate in his holiness. The more the Lord corrects our bad behaviors and teaches and guides us to do what is right, the more He forms in us the holy character of Christ. And this, although it costs us inside and causes us sadness, will eventually produce in us greater joy, because we will experience the rest that Jesus promises when he says: “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). Brothers and sisters, let us not grow weary of submitting ourselves to God and resisting our sinful desires, but let us persevere in the knowledge of God’s will and allow the transforming power of His Spirit to transform us into those holy, humble, and obedient children that God wants to make of each one of us.
Let us pray:
God, what a blessing it is to have been adopted as your child, because I have the best and most excellent Father, You who are good and perfect. Thank you for allowing me to grow in your knowledge each day and to submit to your authority, because I know that although you often exercise discipline, you do so with purpose and love. Thank you, Lord, amen.
DISSE JESUS:
Being a Father is being the Protector of the Family!
WHEN YOU DIE...
WHEN YOU DIE, DON'T WORRY:
Because if you die and have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you will go to heaven.
But if you die without having accepted Jesus as your Savior and die in your sins, you will go to hell. It is not me who tells you this, it is the Word of God that tells you, amen.
Do not worry about your body because your relatives will take care of what is necessary.
They:
🔷️ They will take your clothes.
🔷️ They will wash you.
🔷️ They will dress you.
🔷️ They will take you out of your house.
🔷 ️They will take you to your new home...
🔷️ Many will come to "say goodbye" to you at your funeral. 🔷️ Some will cancel their appointments and even miss work and other commitments because of your funeral.
Although most of them never did so while you were alive.
🔷 Your belongings, even those you didn't like to lend, will be burned, thrown away without the slightest ceremony. Some of those that are a little more valuable, someone will even keep them or perhaps donate them.
🔷 Your keys.
🔷 Your books.
🔷 Your CDs.
🔷 Your bags.
🔷 Your shoes.
🔷 Your clothes...
🔷️ If your family is smart and supportive, they will donate them to charity so that they can obtain some benefit for someone.
🔷️ And rest assured:
The world will not stop to cry for you.
🔷️ The economy will continue. 🔷️ In your work, you will be replaced; another person with the same abilities will take your place.
🔷️ Your "Assets" will go to your heirs.
Whereas you will continue to be: cited, judged, questioned... about all the small and large actions in life.
🔷️ There will be 3 types of "MOURNING" about you:
🔷️ People who knew you only at face value will say:
"Poor Man! / Woman!"
🔷️ Your friends will cry for days, or at most hours, but then they will return to laughing.
🔷️ Those "friends" who encouraged you to sin will forget you more quickly.
🔷️ Your animals will be given away, they will become attached to the new owner, and little by little your memory will be erased. 🔷️ Your photos:
"For a while" they will be hanging on a wall, or on some piece of furniture.
But soon they will be stored away, forgotten, in boxes, or at the bottom of a drawer.
🔷️ Your favorite sofa, table, or chair will certainly be donated, or burned.
🔷️ The "deep" pain in your home will last a week, two, a month, two...
And after that, your family will only add you to their memories.
🔷️ And then, your story here, is over...
🔷️ It is over for this world, among people.
But your story with your new reality, begins.
And this reality, is life after death. Eternal life with or without God.
🔷️ And these things will be left behind:
🔷 Body
🔷 Beauty
🔷 Appearance
🔷 Surname
🔷 Comfort
🔷 Credit
🔷 Status
🔷️ Fame
🔷 Position
🔷 Bank account
🔷️ Likes
🔷 House
🔷️ Vanity
🔷 Car
🔷 Profession
🔷 Career
🔷 Titles
🔷 Diplomas
🔷 Medals
🔷 Trophies
🔷 Friends
🔷 Places
🔷 Spouse
🔷 Family...
🔷️ And there, on the other side, none of these things will be missed or of any value, they will be of no use to you. 🔷️ Therefore, guard your heart. ❤
🔷️ Take care of:
🔷 Your Spirit.
🔷 Your life with God.
🔷️ Your soul. It is yours that suffers and feels pain.
🔷 Preserve His essence within you.
🔷 Do good.
🔷 Forgive.
🔷 Be honest.
🔷 Be fair.
🔷 Seek Him.
🔷 Follow Him.
🔷 Pray, talk to Him.
🔷 Learn about Him.
🔷 Practice what He taught.
🔷 And stay away from any act that displeases Him, our Lord JESUS CHRIST. ✝️
He will come soon
And everything here will be left behind. REPENT OF YOUR SINS, RENOUNCE THE DESIRES OF YOUR FALLEN FLESH, AND SANCTIFY YOURSELF IN PRAYER, FASTING, AND DAILY BIBLE READING. 🫵🙏🔥🔥🔥📖

Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
Matthew 7:13

DECEITFUL HEART
Jeremiah 17:5
This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength and whose heart departs from the LORD!"
Jeremiah 17:9-10
The heart is more deceitful than anything else, and its sickness is incurable. Who can understand it? "I, the LORD, search the heart and examine the mind, to give each person according to his ways, according to what his deeds deserve." John 8:44
44"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not hold to the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his own language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Ephesians 6:11-18
Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and always taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and to this end being alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
