Revelation 3: 14-21

Seventh letter, to the Laodicean church

14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea he writes: This says Amen, the faithful and true witness, the principle of God's creation:

15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish you were cold or hot!

16 So, because you are lukewarm, and you are neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth.

17 As you say, I am rich, and I am enriched, and I lack nothing; and you do not know that you are a wretch, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked;

18 I advise you to buy gold from me on fire, so that you may become rich; and white clothes, so that you dress, and the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye drops, that you may see.

19 I rebuke and chasten as many as I love; therefore be zealous, and repent.

20 Behold, I am at the door, and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will enter his house, and I will dine with him, and he with me.

21 I will grant him who wins to sit on my throne with me; just as I won, and I sat with my Father on his throne.

22 Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelation 22: 14-21

14 Blessed are those who keep his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city through the gates.

15 Dogs and sorcerers and prostitutes and murderers and idolaters and anyone who loves and makes a lie will be left out.

16 I, Jesus, sent my angel to testify to you of these things in the churches. I am the root and generation of David, the shining morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the wife say, Come. And whoever hears, say: Come. And whoever is thirsty, come; and whoever wants, take the water of life for free.

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy in this book that if anyone adds anything to them, God will cause the plagues that are written in this book to come upon him;

19 And if anyone takes any words from the book of this prophecy, God will take his part of the book of life, and of the holy city, and of the things that are written in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, I am certainly coming soon. Amen. Now come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
