First of all know that, in the last days, scoffers will appear mocking and following their own passions.
They will say, "What happened to the promise of your coming? Since the ancestors died, everything has remained the same since the beginning of creation."
But they deliberately forget that a long time ago, by the word of God, there were heavens and earth, this formed of water and water.
And by the water the world of that time was submerged and destroyed.
By the same word, the heavens and earth that now exist are reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and for the destruction of the wicked.
Do not forget this, beloved: for the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day.
The Lord does not delay in fulfilling his promise, as some judge. On the contrary, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but for everyone to come to regret.
The day of the Lord, however, will come as a thief. The heavens will disappear with a great crash, the elements will be destroyed by heat, and the earth, and everything in it, will be stripped.
Since everything will be undone, what kind of people do you need to be? Live in a holy and pious way,
waiting for God's day and hastening his coming. That day the heavens will be broken by fire, and the elements will melt with heat.
However, according to his promise, we expect new heavens and a new earth, where justice dwells.
Therefore, beloved, while waiting for these things, strive to be found by him in peace, immaculate and blameless.
Keep in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, as our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, with the wisdom that God has given you.
He writes in the same way in all his letters, talking about these subjects. Their letters contain some things that are difficult to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist, as they do with the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Therefore, beloved, knowing this, guard yourselves so that you are not led by the error of those who have no moral principles, nor lose their firmness and fall.
Grow, however, in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3: 3-18

As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples addressed him in private and said, "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and the end of time?"
Jesus replied, "Watch out, let no one deceive you.

but he who endures to the end will be saved.
And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
"So, when you see 'the terrible sacrilege', of which the prophet Daniel spoke, in the holy place - whoever reads, understand -
then, those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Whoever is on the roof of your house, do not go down to take anything from it.
Whoever is in the field does not come back to get his mantle.
How terrible those days will be for pregnant women and those who are breastfeeding!
Pray that your escape will not happen in winter or Saturday.
For there will be great tribulation then, as there has never been since the beginning of the world until now, nor will there ever be.
If those days were not cut short, no one would survive; but, because of the elect, those days will be shortened.
If, then, someone says to them: 'Look, here is the Christ! ’Or:‘ There he is! ’, Don’t believe it.
For false Christs and false prophets will appear who will perform great signs and wonders to, if possible, deceive even the elect.
See that I warned you in advance.
"So, if someone says to you:‘ He is there, in the desert! ’, Don’t leave; or:‘ There he is, inside the house! ’, Don’t believe it.
Because just as lightning comes out of the East and shows itself in the West, so will the coming of the Son of man.
Where there is a corpse, the vultures will gather there.

"Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master takes care of in his household to give them food in due time?
Happy is the servant whom his master finds doing so when he returns.
I assure you that he will take charge of all your assets.
But suppose that servant is evil and say to yourself: ‘My lord is delayed’,
and then start hitting your canned goods and eating and drinking with the drinkers.
The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know.
He will severely punish you and make room for the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth ". Matthew 24: 3-51
