REPENTANCE:
THE LAST CHANCE BEFORE THE EXECUTION OF JUDGMENT
In the past God ignored this ignorance, but now commands everyone everywhere to repent. For he has established a day when he will judge the world with righteousness through the man whom he has appointed. And he gave evidence to all of them, raising him from the dead. "(JESUS CHRIST) Acts 17: 30-31
"Therefore, O nation of Israel, I will judge them, every one according to his ways." The word of the Lord, the Lord, repent, turn away from all your evils, lest sin cause you to fall And let them be free from all the evils that you have committed and seek a new heart and a new spirit, why should you die, O nation of Israel? Repent and live! Ezekiel 18: 30-32
But now I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you have grieved as God willed and in no way have been harmed by our cause. Sadness according to God produces no remorse, but a repentance that leads to salvation, and sorrow according to the world produces death. 2 Corinthians 7: 9-10
The Lord is not slow to keep his promise, as some men think. On the contrary, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but that all come to repentance. 2 Peter 3: 9
Says the Sovereign, the Lord, the Holy One of Israel:
"In repentance and at rest
Is your salvation,
In quietness and trust
Is its vigor,
But you did not want to. Isaiah 30:15
FOR YOU WHO HAD ACCOMPANIED THE NOVEL THE RICH AND THE LAZARUS IN THE RECORD, THE FLAT TROTS AS BACKGROUND THE CAPTIVITY OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH PROPHIZED YEARS BEFORE, BY THE PROPHET JEREMIAS, SENT BY GOD TO ALERT THE PEOPLE AND TO LEAVE THEM TO REPENTANCE . EVEN SENSED ALERTED, THEY REMAIN IN ERROR, IN IDOLATRY AND IN DISOBEDIENCE TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. THEIR FALL IS IMPENDING AND THE JUDGE JARS THE DOOR AND THE WAR IS INEVITABLE BEYOND MANY DEATHS. SO AS IN THE PAST, TODAY, THIS IS ALSO HAPPENING. IN OUR DAYS, CALL THE PEOPLE ARE CALLED TO REPENTANCE ...
James 1: 13 Let no man, being tempted, say, I am tempted of God: Because God can not be tempted by evil, and tempted no one.
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn and enticed by his own lusts.
15 And when sin hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; And sin, being consummated, begets death.
JEREMIAH 19: 1-15
The broken bottle - The ruin of Jerusalem
1 Thus saith the LORD; Go, and buy a potter's vessel, and take with thee some of the elders of the people, and some of the elders of the priests;
2 And go forth into the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is at the entrance of the gate of the sun, and proclaim there the words that I speak unto thee;
3 And thou shalt say, Hear the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and whosoever heareth it shall hearken unto her.
4 For they have forsaken me, and have alienated this place, and have burned incense to other gods, which they have not known, neither they nor their fathers, nor the kings of Judah; And filled this place with the blood of the innocent.
5 For they have built the high places of Baal, to burn their children in the fire for burnt offerings to Baal; Which I never commanded, nor spoke, nor came into my mind.
6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.
7 For I will disperse the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of them that seek their lives; And I will give their corpses for pasture to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth.
8 And I will make this city an object of wonder and hissing; Every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss for all his plagues.
9 And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their children, and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every man the flesh of his friend, in the siege and squeeze of their enemies and those who seek their lives.
10 And thou shalt break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee.
11 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Thus will I break this people, and this city, as the potter's vessel is broken, which can not be rebuilt, and bury them in Topheth, Because there will be no more place to bury them.
JEREMIAH 26: 1-15
Jeremiah predicts the ruin of the temple and of Jerusalem, and is in danger of death
1 At the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word of the LORD, saying,
2 Thus saith the LORD, Put thee into the court of the house of the LORD, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the house of the LORD, all the words which I commanded thee to tell them; Do not skip a word.
3 It may well be that they hear, and turn every one from his evil way, and I repent of the evil that I attempt to do to them because of the evil of their doings.
4 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, If ye will not hearken unto me, that ye may walk in my law, which I have set before you,
5 That ye should hear the words of my servants the prophets, which I send unto you, rising early and sending, but ye have not heard;
6 And I will cause this house to be like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
7 And the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, heard Jeremiah speak these words in the house of the LORD.
8 And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of saying all that the LORD had commanded him to say to all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying,
9 Why didst thou prophesy in the name of the LORD, saying, How shall this house be Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, that no inhabitant dwell in it? And all the people gathered themselves together against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
10 And when the princes of Judah heard these words, they went up from the king's house to the house of the LORD, and sat down at the entrance of the new gate of the LORD.
11 Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is guilty of death, because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.
12 And Jeremiah spake unto all the princes and all the people, saying, The LORD hath sent me to prophesy against this house, and against this city, all the words which thou hast heard.
13 Now, therefore, make your ways and your doings better, and listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and the LORD will repent of the evil that he has spoken against you.
14 As for me, behold, I am in your hands; Do with me according to what is good and right in your eyes.
15 But be sure that if you kill me, you shall bring innocent blood upon you, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof; For the LORD has sent me to you, to speak in your ears all these words.
Repentance is to feel sad because of your sin and decide to change. Whoever repents rejects sin and acknowledges that he needs Jesus to be saved. True repentance comes from the conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit and leads you to change your life with the help of Jesus.
Repentance comes from the heart but is revealed in your life. The one who repents has a different attitude: he is humble and tries to do what is right to please God. Repentance is the essential condition for salvation and prevents judgment.
What the Bible says about repentance:

Have mercy on me, O God,
For your love;
For your great compassion
Blot out my transgressions. Wash me of all my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. Because myself
I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin always pursues me. Against you, only against you, have I sinned
And I have done what you disapprove of,
So that's just your sentence
And you are right to condemn me. Psalms 51: 1-4
I first preached to those in Damascus, to those in Jerusalem and all Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works that would show their repentance. Acts 26:20
