Today's verse emphasizes that only the Lord Jesus can forgive your sins and give you eternal life. Where else can we find this truth?

You are horrified by all the illnesses and injustices in the world, perhaps you are affected by the loss of a loved one or tormented by some secret weakness. However, there is a remedy for all these things. The Lord Jesus tells him, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Heed this call.
