THE GIFT OF BEING A MOTHER!

“However, it will be preserved through their mission as mothers, if they remain in faith and love and sanctification, with common sense.”

(I Timothy 2:15)

Mother is the expression of God's Love.

Being a mother is a gift from God.

Being a mother means receiving a sublime gift from God.

Being a mother is receiving a simple gift. (For there is no other way to generate man except from a mother's womb)

Being a mother means receiving a perpetual gift. (She conceives a being that is born to be eternal, will never die)

They say that every child born is a telegram from God announcing that he still loves man.

The word “mother” or “mothers” appears 289 times in the Bible. Reading them, we notice that the principle according to which mothers must be honored (Exodus 20.12), together with fathers, is repeated several times, in the Old and New Testament.

They should be honored for being mothers, even when their advice or practices should not be followed. We have stories in the Bible of magnificent mothers and others not so much. We must therefore state that, although they have immense influence over their children, they are not responsible for the choices they make.

 Isaiah 24

1 Look! The Lord will devastate the land and devastate it; it will ruin its surface and scatter its inhabitants.

2 It will be the same for the priest and the people, for the master and the servant, for the mistress and the maidservant, for the seller and the buyer, for the borrower and the lender, for the debtor and the creditor.

3 The land will be completely devastated and completely plundered. The Lord spoke this word.

4 The earth dries up and withers, the world withers and withers, the nobles of the earth wither.

5 The land is defiled by its inhabitants, because they disobeyed the laws, violated the decrees and broke the everlasting covenant.

6 Therefore the curse consumes the land, and its people are guilty. This is why the inhabitants of the earth are consumed by fire, to the point that very few are left.

7 The new wine goes away, and the vine withers; everyone who was having fun groans.

8 The festive sound of the tambourines has been silenced, the noise of those who rejoice has stopped, the harp full of joy is silent.

9 They no longer drink wine while singing songs; the fermented drink is bitter to those who drink it.

10 The vain city is in ruins; the entrance to each house is closed.

11 In the streets they cry for wine; all joy has come to an end, all celebration has been wiped from the earth.

12 The city was left in ruins, its gate torn to pieces.

13 So it will be on earth, among the nations, as when a rod is used on an olive tree or when the remains of grapes are sought after harvest.

14 They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; From the West they acclaim the majesty of the Lord.

15 Therefore give glory to the Lord in the East, and in the islands of the sea exalt the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.

16 From the ends of the earth we heard people singing, "Glory be to the Righteous!"

17 Dread, pit and snare await you, O inhabitants of the earth!

18 Whoever flees from the scream of terror will fall into the pit; whoever comes out of the pit will be caught in the snare. Open are the floodgates of the heavens; the foundations of the earth tremble.

19 The earth has been torn apart, it is destroyed, it is completely shaken!

20 The earth staggers like a drunkard, shakes like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon her is the guilt of her rebellion that she falls never to rise again!

21 In that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.

22 They will be herded like prisoners in a dungeon, locked in a prison and punished after many days.

23 The moon will be humbled, and the sun will be ashamed; for the Lord of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, glorious in the presence of his leaders!

Change

“Therefore, put away everything that is evil, all lying, pretense, envy and unjust criticism.” 1 Peter 2:1

Following Jesus and his gospel means repentance, change, and ultimately salvation. You can come as you are, but be prepared to be transformed by the love of Jesus. There is no way you can truly know Jesus and continue being your past self, doing the same things, sinning in the same way, going to places that you know are not edifying, but rather the opposite. The Word of God was written to give us direction and teachings about how we should be and what we cannot do. We cannot close our eyes to it and mold it to our own standard; We are the ones who must be molded into the pattern of Christ, be more like Him and less like ourselves. Pray that God frees you from temptations, keeps you away from evil paths, cleanses your past, transforms your present and future, to His honor and glory, so that you are transformed.

 

For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5 📖🙏🏽

 

 

May this wonderful advice echo in our being:

 “Be still and know that I am God.”

May we find pleasure and comfort in this truth, because, after all, He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

I know you hear prayers.

It was your order to pray without ceasing, and the Lord is not a man to lie, so I will rest.

It will not be by the strength of the arm, but by your word that the rescue will arrive. Works without faith is activism, and the righteous will live by faith!
