¹ Beloved, I now write to you this second letter, in both of which I awaken your sincere spirit with exhortation;
² That you may remember the words that were first spoken by the holy prophets, and our commandment, as apostles of the Lord and Savior.
³ Knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers will come, walking after their own lusts,
⁴ And saying: Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things remain as they were from the beginning of creation.
⁵ They willfully ignore this, that by the word of God the heavens existed from ancient times, and the earth, which was taken out of the water and remains in the midst of the water.
⁶ By what things did the world then perish, covered with the waters of the flood,
⁷ But the heavens and the earth which now exist by the same word are reserved as treasures, and are kept in store against the fire, until the day of judgment, and the destruction of ungodly men.
⁸ But, beloved, do not be ignorant of one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
⁹ The Lord does not delay his promise, although some consider it delay; But he is patient with us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt on fire, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
¹¹ Therefore if all these things perish, what persons should you be in holy conversation and godliness,
¹² Waiting and hastening for the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens, in fire, will dissolve, and the elements, burning, will merge?
¹³ But we, according to his promise, await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
¹⁴ Therefore, beloved, waiting for these things, seek that you may be found of him spotless and blameless in peace.
¹⁵ And count the longsuffering of our Lord as salvation; just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him;
¹⁶ Speaking of this, as in all his epistles, among which there are points difficult to understand, which the unlearned and unstable twist, and likewise the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
¹⁷ You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest by the deceit of abominable men you be taken away together, and fall from your steadfastness;
¹⁸ Rather, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, both now and in the day of eternity. Amen.

I understand that from this passage of
📜
Luke 21:20-24 Israel has its importance in the eschatological clock
⏳
. Because this passage talks about the siege in Israel, a time of its desolation, destruction, distressing times, of prophetic fulfillment, of revenge, of judgment. AND
👉
wrath upon these people.
👈
What people? The people of Israel. Joining this war in Israel and its consequences and by all the other signs: earthquakes, wars, rumors of war, pestilences, famines, love cooling off, apostasy, the increase in the number of false prophets. Everything leads us to consider this war, unprecedented in Israel, which apparently reveals the beginning of the Great Tribulation and the soon appearance of the antichrist with his false "Peace Agreement" described in Daniel.
Luke 21:²⁰ But when you see
👉
Jerusalem
👈
🪖
surrounded by armies, then know that her desolation has come
🔥
.
²¹ Then those who are in Judea,
🏃♂️🏃♀️
flee to the mountains
⛰️
; those who are in the middle of the city, leave; and those who enter the fields do not enter it.
²² Because days of revenge
💪
these are, that all things that are written may be fulfilled
✒️
.
²³ But woe to those who are pregnant, and to those who give birth in those days! for there will be great distress in the land, and
👉😡
wrath upon these people.
👈
²⁴
👉
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be carried away captive to all nations
👈
; and Jerusalem will be trampled

for the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are completed.
