It's enough to make me sick to see and hear what is being preached, on top of the pulpits of evangelical churches in general, prosperity theology, triumphalism, hyper grace, mysticism, divination, and people who don't know the Scriptures and the teachings of Christ, They are like pigs eating washing, which is why their souls are sick, anemic and many are dead, like the Valley of dry bones of which Ezekiel had a vision. It's time to wake up, sleepy, lazy people, let's start praying, fighting sin and studying the Bible daily, because God will vomit out the lukewarm.

THE FALSE BANQUET.

Few realize it, but most Christians are eating garbage every week in their churches. The preachings that were once based on the Scriptures are being replaced by cheap psychology and philosophy, all of this, of course, with a biblical guise so that it is not so “in your face” that such teachings come only from human ideas, the famous subjectivism . Christians, in turn, applaud standing up for what should be harshly condemned.

Paul, when writing his second letter to Timothy, his son in faith, warned us against the cunning snares of false teaching: “For the time will come when they will not endure the Sound Doctrine; but having itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers according to their own lusts; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and turn aside to myths." (2nd Timothy 4:3,4).

To alleviate the tragedy, many resort to the famous cliché: “At least they are winning souls!” But, after all, winning souls for whom? For Christ it cannot be! He promised to save the lost only through the preaching of the Gospel: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes [...]” (Romans 1:16). The Gospel message is not a promise of physical or emotional healing; financial prosperity; or any other device used to bring people into a deep emotional state.

The Gospel message is specific and cannot be restricted, replaced or fractionated. Any human addition to this message is to deny the power of the Word and attribute it to any other human method.

 The importance of prayer

When we know God's love, prayer becomes indispensable in our lives. The more we grow in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, the more we understand how essential prayer is. We have already seen that prayer was a priority in Jesus' life. That is why it is written many times in the Word of God to be persevering in prayer.

Today I want to encourage you to read some verses talking about exactly this: the importance of always praying.

Pray continually. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

The end of all things is near. Therefore, be judicious and alert; dedicate yourselves to prayer. 1 Peter 4:7

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12

Dedicate yourselves to prayer, be alert and be grateful. Colossians 4:2

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable, to show them that they should always pray and never lose heart. Luke 18:1

REFUTING BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PENTECOSTAL GIFT OF TONGUES.

Pentecostal Christians believe that baptism with the Holy Spirit is a second blessing, subsequent to conversion. They believe that this baptism is evidenced by speaking in tongues, and therefore, all Christians should speak in such tongues.

Reformed Christians believe differently than this. For the Reformed, baptism with the Holy Spirit is the Christian's own conversion.

I - BIBLICAL TEXTS THAT SAY "BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT" AND WITH FIRE

Pentecotal Christians distinguish between baptism "of the Holy Spirit" and baptism "with the Holy Spirit." The first would be conversion and the second a later blessing of filling, power and strange tongues.

In the Bible, however, there is no distinction between baptism with the Holy Spirit and baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The texts that clearly speak about baptism with the Holy Spirit in the New Testament are: Matthew 3.10-12 and Luke 3.15-17.

In Matthew 3:11 John the Baptist says "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who comes after me is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to bear. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."

Here John speaks of baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire. Pentecostals understand from this text that the baptism with the Holy Spirit mentioned here is the outpouring of Acts 2, where people spoke "with tongues as if of fire" (Acts 2.3). Therefore, they conclude that the baptism with the Holy Spirit is this filling of power, and of "fire" in the lives of Christians, which happened in Acts 2.

Non-Pentecostals, on the other hand, interpret Matthew's text in its context in a very different way.

In verse 10 John had said "the ax has been laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the FIRE".

Here he threatens the fruitless trees to be thrown into the fire.

On the front verse (11), it says that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

And in verse 12 he says "His fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly clear the threshing floor; he will gather his wheat into the barn, but he will burn the chaff in UNEXTINGUISHABLE FIRE."

Here again we see fire as a threat of condemnation, and after talking about the baptism with the Holy Spirit and with fire, John talks about how Jesus will separate the saved and the wicked.

Therefore, non-Pentecostals understand that baptism with fire is condemnation, judgment, and not the same as baptism with the Holy Spirit and there is no relationship between baptism with fire and "tongues as if of fire" in Acts 2.

Therefore, non-Pentecostals understand that baptism with the Holy Spirit is exactly the opposite of baptism with fire, that is, salvation. Jesus said that he would gather the wheat into the barn and this baptism is seen as Jesus' saving work.

Luke's text deals with the same thing.

In Acts 2:5 Jesus says "for John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence." Here again, Jesus speaks of the baptism with the Holy Spirit and says that His disciples would receive this baptism, but He says nothing about the baptism of fire.

II - EVERY CHRISTIAN IS BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

In Romans 8:9 Paul says "But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Therefore, every Christian must possess the Holy Spirit. Anyone who is not inhabited by the Holy Spirit is not in fact a Christian. On this everyone agrees.

In I Corinthians 12:12-31, Paul talks about the Church of Christ and how it is a body of different members.

In verse 13 he says "for by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free. And we were all made to drink of one Spirit."

Here, Paul says that all believers were baptized in the same Spirit, that is, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and that is why they belong to the same body. It is evident here that baptism with the Spirit is the reason for someone to be part of the body of Christ, that is, conversion itself.

III - DOES EVERYONE SPEAK IN TONGUES?

Still in I Corinthians 12, in verses 14-26, Paul talks about the different members of the body as an analogy for different gifts existing in the church.

In verse 28-31, Paul says, "God established some in the church, first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then workers of miracles; then gifts of healing, help, governments, varieties of of languages.

Are they all apostles? Or, all prophets? Are they all masters? Or, miracle workers? Does everyone have the gift of healing? Do they all speak other languages? Do they all interpret them?

Meanwhile, seek, with zeal, the best gifts."

Here, Paul says that each person has a different gift in the church. The Church of Corinth was very fascinated by the gift of tongues (which Paul will address in chapter 14), but he lists the gifts of speaking and interpreting tongues last. And he asks rhetorical questions about whether everyone had the same gifts and the answers should be negative. What Paul tries to show here is that not everyone has the same gifts. Not all are apostles, not all are teachers, not all perform miracles, not all speak in other languages and not all interpret. Therefore, non-Pentecostals believe that the gift of tongues cannot be a sign of baptism with the Holy Spirit, since not everyone can have the same gifts.

IV - WHAT IS THE GIFT OF TONGUES?

In chapter 14, Paul talks about tongues and shows that their function was communication. He says in verses 6-12 onwards that there is no point in saying something in church that no one understands.

He says that those who speak in tongues must interpret them so that they may be useful to the church (verses 13-16).

In verses 18-19, of chapter 14 of I Corinthians, Paul says "I thank God that I speak in other tongues more than all of you. However, I would rather speak five words with my understanding, to instruct others, than speak ten thousand words in another language." Thus, he shows that languages without interpretation are useless.

In verse 28 he says "but if there is no interpreter, remain silent in the church, talking to yourself and to God." Thus, Paul makes it very clear that tongues are not for anything other than communication and should only be spoken in the church when it is possible to interpret what was said.

In Acts 2.7-13 we can see that the languages of Acts were human languages and that the people present in Jerusalem from various countries understood the Gospel in their own languages, and therefore believed.

Therefore, the languages of Acts were human and had the purpose of communicating the Gospel, exactly the same as what Paul talks about in I Corinthians 14. In this, he says in verses 10-11: "there are, without a doubt, many types of voices in the world; none of them, however, are meaningless. If I, therefore, ignore the meaning of the voice, I will be a foreigner to him who speaks; and he, a foreigner to me."

Pentecostals believe that tongues are a universal gift because of the promise in Mark 16:17-18 "These signs will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, they will not will harm them; if they lay hands on the sick, they will recover."

Therefore, Pentecostals believe that this promise is for all who believe. However, not all Christians perform all of these signs and therefore, strange tongues do not need to be for all Christians but for some who believe, according to the need for the gift.

Some who believe God will give one gift, to others another and so he will give all gifts. The signs will follow the believers, but this does not mean that the same signs or all signs will always be present in the life of every Christian.

God does not need to give all the gifts to a Christian, but those that are necessary. As seen in 1 Corinthians 12, not everyone speaks in tongues, but does that mean not everyone believes? In no way does it mean that the gift is not the same for everyone, as we are a body, made up of different members, although baptized in the same Spirit (I Corinthians 12:12-13).

Another Pentecostal argument is that tongues are the tongues of angels, according to I Corinthians 13.1. In this text, Paul says "even if I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, if I do not have love, I will be like sounding brass or like a clanging cymbal."

Here Paul is not talking about the gift of tongues, but rather talking about a hypothetical possibility that, without love, would still be worthless. Paul is not claiming that it is possible to speak in the tongues of angels, but rather "even if I spoke", showing here a hyperbole to show precisely that spoken tongues do not make someone saved, even if they were even in the tongues of angels.

Therefore, in this text there is no basis for establishing a doctrine of the tongues of angels, which contradicts the teaching of Acts 2 and I Corinthians 14, which speak of the gift of tongues as human languages.

V - CONCLUSION

The baptism with the Holy Spirit is conversion itself. The Spirit convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16.7-11), seals us as Christ's property (Ephesians 1.3), dwells in us as a guarantee of the final work of salvation (II Corinthians 1.22), testifies that we are children of God (Romans 8.15), leads us to repentance when we sin (II Corinthians 7.10; II Timothy 2.25) and leads us to live a new life as born of the Spirit (John 3.😎, not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit (Romans 😎 .

Romans 8:31

What then shall we say to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you will condemn.

- we are not alone in times of tribulation.

- in the Blood of Yeshua, we are protected. .

Those who invoke the name

of Yahweh — will be saved.

"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved: for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath spoken, and among the survivors, those whom the Lord calleth."

Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you enter your kingdom."

Jesus answered him, "I assure you: Today you will be with me in paradise."

SO CLOSE AND AT THE SAME TIME SO FAR!

The most difficult human being to evangelize is not an atheist, sectarian or postmodern agnostic. But a religious Christian, who week after week is taught the Word of God and yet remains unchanged by it. He is convinced and sure of his salvation, fully trusting in his own righteousness, but he will be thrown like straw into the fires of hell.

The church of Laodicea gave itself top marks: "[...] I am rich, and I am enriched, and I lack nothing; [...]". However, in the eyes of Christ, he receives a sad diagnosis: " [...] and you do not know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked;" - Rev 3:17.

This sad reality reveals to us that there is a vast and difficult missionary field in the pews of our churches. Nominal Christians who have not undergone the new birth. People who were so close to the Gospel, but were not transformed by it. What a tragedy!

JUDGE ACCORDING TO RIGHT JUSTICE!

- We must JUDGE according to Right Justice (John 7:24): "Do not judge according to appearance, but JUDGE according to right justice." (John 7:24).

- We Must Judge All Things (1st Co 2:15): "But he who is spiritual JUDGES all things, but he himself is judged by no one." (1st Cor 2:15)

- We Must Judge Sin in the Church (1st Co 5:9-12): "For what have I to judge those who are without? Do you not JUDGE those who are within?" (1st Cor 5:9-12)

- Disputes between brothers (1st Co 6:5): "I say this to put you to shame. Is there not wise among you, not even one, who can JUDGE between his brothers?" (1st Cor 6:5)

- Preaching (1st Co 14:29): "And let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge." (1st Co 14.29)

- Those Who Preach False Gospels (Gal 1:8): "But even if we ourselves or an angel from heaven preach another gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." (Gal 1:8)

- The Works of Darkness (Eph 5:11): "And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather condemn them." (Eph 5:11)

- Prophets (1st John 4:1): "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets have arisen in the world." (1st John 4.1)

▪️With all these texts clearly exposed, how is it possible for someone to say "Do not judge so that you will not be judged" (Mt 7:1)???

This verse is linked to its CONTEXT, which must be analyzed in its entirety, before someone ISOLATES IT and goes around telling the whole world that we cannot judge unless we will be judged too! Let’s look at the CONTEXT in which the verse is found:

"1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with the judgment with which ye judge ye shall be judged, and with the measure with which ye have measured it will be measured unto you. 3 And why do you consider the mote that is in the eye of the your brother, and do you not see the plank that is in your own eye? 4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye, when there is a plank in yours? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will take care to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (Mt 7:1-5)

This is the CONTEXT! Very clearly, Jesus is teaching us that we should not judge if we PRACTICE the same sin or mistake that someone else does, otherwise we will be the HYPOCRITES of verse 5! Note that Jesus begins by saying: "Why do you look at the mote that is in your brother's eye, but do not see the plank that is in your own eye?" Jesus is calling this person who wants to take the speck out of someone else's eye a hypocrite, because he doesn't see that there is a gigantic plank in his own eye! This is what the CONTEXT teaches us, that is, that we should not judge if we are making an even greater or equal error, and not that we should not judge.

We must judge all things according to RIGHT JUSTICE!

2. THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

God's love and His wrath often go together (Num 14:18; Rom 11:22; Heb 12:5) and truly God's wrath is an expression of His love (Ps 136:14-21). If God did not have wrath, his attributes would be flawed. If there were no wrath of God, He would be indifferent to sin, show an absence of morality, and accept foolishness and corruption. CAN WE JUDGE THE TEACHINGS OF FALSE TEACHERS?

Today's Christians believe it is wrong to expose error. I want to once and for all show on a biblical basis that judging is the duty of every (Biblical) Christian.

More than 70% of the comments I receive on my Facebook are the following phrases:

• Do not judge if you do not want to be juged,

• How can you touch an Anointed One?

• Only God can judge,

• Who are you to judge?

Today, defenders of the Christian faith and committed to the word of God are labeled by the biblically illiterate as those “without love” or those who do a “disservice” to the kingdom.

The TOP verse most used by these is the passage from Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge, so that you will not be judged”. The isolated verse as it is being exposed really gives this impression, but we know that every passage must be taken in its context. If we read the entire chapter we will clearly see that the text is referring to hypocritical judgment.

Already in verse 25 Yeshua warns against false prophets. How can we identify these false prophets who may even come dressed as sheep if we do not judge them according to the word of God? By identifying the false prophet, it is lawful and biblical to warn Christians about them.

Many readers of my Face question me and are angry because I denounce the error and warn against those who preach a false gospel, in response I will quote some biblical passages:

• “Breed of vipers, how can you say good things when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). Here Yeshua speaks directly to the Pharisees.

• When Yeshua came face to face with the false teachers, he called them “hypocrites,” “blind guides,” “blind men,” “whitewashed sepulchers,” “serpents,” and “brood of vipers” (Matthew 23:23-34 ).

• “Yeshua went up to Jerusalem. And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and pigeons, and the money changers sitting. And having made a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, also the oxen and the sheep; and he scattered the money of the money changers, and overturned the tables; And his disciples remembered that it was written: Zeal for your house will devour me” (John 2:13-16)

• “Is it not written: My house shall be called a house of prayer by all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves” (Mark 11:17).

• “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1st John 4:1).

• “To the Law and the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20)

• “…you put to the test those who say they are apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be liars” (Revelation 2:2).

• “And I beseech you, brethren, to take note of those who promote dissensions and scandals against the doctrine which you have learned; turn away from them” (Romans 16:17).

• “Therefore rebuke them severely, so that they may be sound in the faith” (Titus 1:13).

• “Holding fast the faithful word, which is according to doctrine, that he may be able both to admonish with sound doctrine, and to convince those who contradict” (Titus 1:9).

• “Do not have complicity in the fruitless works of darkness; on the contrary, DENOUNCE THEM OPENLY” (Ephesians 5:11).

• “But we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Yeshua Hamashiach, to separate yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly, and not according to the tradition he received from us” (2nd Thessalonians 3:6)

• “…if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take notice of him, and do not mingle with him, lest he be ashamed. However, do not consider him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother” (2nd Thessalonians 3:14-15).

• “…some will have “the appearance of godliness, but denying the power of it. Stay away from these, for these people can never come to the knowledge of the truth” (2nd Timothy 3:5,7).

• “…preach the word, urge in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and doctrine” (2nd Timothy 4:2).

• “…If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house, nor do you greet him. For whoever salutes him has part in his evil works” (2nd John 10:11)

• “A man who is a heretic, after one admonition and another, avoid him” (Titus 3:10)

• “If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be cursed forever” (See Galatians 1:6-9)

• “Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord; And touch nothing unclean, and I will receive you” (2nd Corinthians 6:17).

Now I want to point out verses that denounce the error and point out the names:

• PAUL QUOTED PETER PUBLICLY - (Galatians 2:11-14),

• PAUL CITED DEMAS FOR LOVING THE WORLD - (2nd Timothy 4:10),

• PAUL QUOTED HYMENEUS AND ALEXANDER - (1st Timothy 1:18-20),

• PAUL QUOTED HYMENAEUS AND PHILETUS - (2nd Timothy 2:15-18),

• PAUL QUOTED ALEXANDER THE COPPERMAN - (2nd Timothy 4:14-15),

• JOHN QUOTED DIOTREPHES - (3rd John 9).

If you are one of those who think that “the important thing is that the gospel is being preached”, I tell you that this false gospel must be considered #cursed (Galatians 1:8-9) and certainly those who are spreading it they will be judged for it.

A “gospel” that does not preach repentance and does not point out sins as reprehensible can be anything but Christianity…

The space is open to critics on duty! For those who like to use these catchphrases I mentioned above, please respond and comment on a Biblical basis! Which should be the basis for every true Christian.
