THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT WINS THE WORLD: OUR FAITH!

1 John 5

1 EVERYONE who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God; and everyone who loves him who begat him also loves him who is born of him.

2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.

3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome.

4. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.

5. Who is it that overcomes the world if not he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

6. This is he who came by water and blood, that is, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

7. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

8. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one.

9. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God, that he testified of his Son.

10. Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony which God gave to his Son.

11. And the testimony is this: that God has given us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.

12. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

14. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

15. And if we know that he hears us in all that we ask, we know that we obtain the petitions we asked him.

16. If anyone sees his brother sinning, a sin not leading to death, he will pray, and God will give him life for those who do not sin leading to death. There is sin unto death, and for that I say not pray.

17. All iniquity is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.

18. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.

19. We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the evil one.

20. And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know the True One; and in what is True we are, that is, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

21. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

FOR THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD MANIFESTED: TO UNDO THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL!

Psalm 56:13

13 For you have delivered me from death

and at my stumbling feet,

so that I may walk before God

in the light that illuminates the living.

1 John 3

1 SEE how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God. That's why the world doesn't know us; because you don't know him.

2. Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we will be like him; because as it is we will see it.

3. And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he himself is pure.

4. Anyone who practices sin also transgresses the law; for sin is the transgression of the law.

5. And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him there is no sin.

6. Whoever abides in him does not practice sin; whoever remains in sin has neither seen nor known him.

7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices justice is righteous, just as he is righteous.

8. Whoever practices sin is of the devil; because the devil sins from the beginning. 📢 For this the Son of God 🙌 was manifested: To undo the works of the devil 👹 .

9. Whoever is born of God does not remain in sin; because his seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do justice, and does not love his brother, is not of God.

11. For this is the message you heard from the beginning: That we love one another.

 WHO WINS SOULS IS WISE!

Proverbs 11:30

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

Every Christian's work is to win souls to Jesus. But how can we do this? Talking about Jesus to other people. God uses us to spread the gospel across the earth. Everyone needs to hear the gospel, because only Jesus saves.

We can speak but it is the Holy Spirit who convinces. Salvation is a gift from God. All the glory of salvation belongs to him, not to him who evangelizes. However, our role is very important. Faith comes by hearing the message. For that, someone needs to preach the message. That's our job and that's how we win souls.

And Jesus said, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Mark 1:17

Then Jesus approached them and said, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, until the end of the age".

Matthew 28:18-20

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts of the Apostles 1:8

But I say that it is for your sake that I am going. If I don't go, the Counselor won't come for you; but if I go, I will send him. When he comes, he will convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

John 16:7-8

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all people. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Mark 16:15-18

Rather, sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to answer anyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have. However, do this with meekness and respect, maintaining a good conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior, because you are in Christ, may be ashamed of their slander.

1 Peter 3:15-16

The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life,

and he who wins souls is wise.

Proverbs 11:30

Because, although I am free from everyone, I made myself a slave to everyone, in order to win as many people as possible. I became a Jew for the Jews in order to win the Jews. To those under the Law I became as it were under the Law (though I myself am not under the Law), in order to win those under the Law. To those not having the law I became as one not having the law (although I am not free from the law of God but under the law of Christ), in order to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I became everything to everyone, in order to somehow save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, to be partakers of it.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season, rebuke, correct, exhort with all patience and doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:2

We proclaim it, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

Colossians 1:28

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Greek. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, a righteousness which from first to last is by faith, as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Romans 1:16-17

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in the one they haven't heard of? And how will they hear if there is no one to preach? And how will they preach if they are not sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Romans 10:14-15

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, then, to send laborers into his harvest."

Matthew 9:37-38

in, preach this message: The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Matthew 10:7

With many other words he warned and pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation!"

Acts of the Apostles 2:40

IF WE SIN...

1 John 2
1Dear little children, these words I write to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for our personal offenses only, but for the sins of the whole world. In Christ and separated from the world...

Confessing sins brings deliverance. Those who confess their sins to God recognize that they acted wrongly, that they displeased God, and that they deserve punishment. God forgives those who confess their sins, because that person shows that he wants to change his life.

It is also important to ask forgiveness from the people we have sinned against. It brings reconciliation. In some situations, it is good to confess sins to a trusted person who can help with reconciliation.

Confess Sins in the Bible

If we claim that we are without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:8-9

Who hides their sins

does not prosper,

but who confesses them and forsakes them

finds mercy.

Proverbs 28:13

Be careful.

"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times and says, 'I am sorry,' forgive him."

Luke 17:3-4

Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other to be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

James 5:16

I confess my guilt;

I am in anguish because of my sin.

Psalm 38:18

“If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. so that 'any accusation is confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'

Matthew 18:15-17

Sacrifices That Please God

they are a broken spirit;

a broken and contrite heart,

O God, you will not despise.

Psalm 51:17

While I kept my sins hidden,

my body was wasting away from so much moaning. For day and night

your hand was heavy on me;

my strength was running out

like in dry weather. So I acknowledged before you my sin

and I did not cover up my faults.

I said, "I will confess my transgressions,"

to the Lord,

and you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Psalms 32:3-5

You know how foolish I was, O God;

my guilt is not hidden from you.

Psalm 69:5

for myself

I recognize my transgressions,

and my sin always pursues me. Against you, against you alone, I have sinned

and I did what you reproached,

so that just is your sentence

and you are right to condemn me. I know I'm a sinner since I was born;

yes, since my mother conceived me. I know that you desire the truth in your heart;

and in my heart you teach me wisdom. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalms 51:3-7

We all sin and need to confess those sins to Jesus in repentance in order to be forgiven.

Confession of your sins to Jesus...

1 John 1 WHAT was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at, and our hands have touched of the Word of life 🙌

2. (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and testify of it, and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us);

3. What we saw 👀 and heard 👂, that we announce to you 🗣, so that you also have communion with us; and our communion is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4. These things we write to you, so that your enjoyment 😄 may be fulfilled.

5. And this is the message we heard from him, and we announce to you: That God is light 💥, and there is no darkness in him at all.

6. If we say we have communion with him, and walk in darkness 👣, we lie 🤥, and do not practice the truth.

7. But if we walk in the light💥, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.⚰️

8. If we say we have no sin⚰️, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9. If we confess 🗣 our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness.

10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

BEWARE OF HYPOCRISY!

 “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom, I solemnly exhort you:

PREACH THE WORD, be prepared in season and out of season, REBUKE, CORRECT, EXHORT with all PATIENCE and DOCTRINE.

There will come a time when people will no longer support Sound Doctrine; on the contrary, feeling itching in their ears, they will gather teachers for themselves according to their own desires.

They will refuse to listen to THE TRUTH, turning to fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:1-4

That is why God cries out from the heavens above:

“Behold, this is what the Eternal declares: Since this people approaches me only with empty words WITHOUT ATTITUDE, and honors me only by moving their lips, while their hearts are far from me. And the worship they give me is made up only of rules and doctrines created by men, what remains for me is to continue to terrify this people with wonderful works and amazing deeds, so that the knowledge of their wise men PERISH, and the intelligence of their your thinkers FADE!” Isaiah 29:13-14
