Confessing sins brings deliverance. Those who confess their sins to God recognize that they acted wrongly, that they displeased God, and that they deserve punishment. God forgives those who confess their sins, because that person shows that he wants to change his life.

It is also important to ask forgiveness from the people we have sinned against. It brings reconciliation. In some situations, it is good to confess sins to a trusted person who can help with reconciliation.

Confess Sins in the Bible

If we claim that we are without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

No Antigo Testamento

Isaías 5,30:

Naquele tempo, um estrondo, semelhante ao bramido do mar, retumbará contra ele. Quando olhar a terra, só verá trevas e angústia, e no céu se estenderão nuvens tenebrosas.

Isaías 8,21-22:

Andarão errantes pela terra, fatigados e esfomeados; atormentados pela fome, agastar-se-ão e amaldiçoarão o seu rei e o seu Deus. Levantarão os olhos, depois olharão para a terra, e só verão misérias, escuridão e trevas angustiantes. Repelir-se-ão dentro da noite.

Joel 3,3-4:

Farei aparecer prodígios no céu e na terra, sangue, fogo e turbilhões de fumo.O sol converter-se-á em trevas e a lua, em sangue, ao se aproximar o grandioso e temível dia do Senhor.

Nos Evangelhos

Mateus 24,29-31:

Logo após estes dias de tribulação, o Sol escurecerá, a Lua não terá claridade, cairão do céu as estrelas e as potências dos céus serão abaladas. Então aparecerá no céu o sinal do Filho do Homem. Todas as tribos da Terra baterão no peito e verão o Filho do Homem vir sobre as nuvens do céu cercado de glória e de majestade. Ele enviará seus anjos com estridentes trombetas, e juntarão seus escolhidos dos quatro ventos, duma extremidade do céu à outra.

Marcos 13,24-27:

Naqueles dias, depois dessa tribulação, o Sol se escurecerá, a Lua não dará o seu resplendor;

cairão os astros do céu e as forças que estão no céu serão abaladas. Então verão o Filho do homem voltar sobre as nuvens com grande poder e glória. Ele enviará os anjos, e reunirá os seus escolhidos dos quatro ventos, desde a extremidade da Terra até a extremidade do céu.

Lucas 21,25-28:

Haverá sinais no Sol, na Lua e nas estrelas. Na Terra a aflição e a angústia apoderar-se-ão das nações pelo bramido do mar e das ondas. Os homens definharão de medo, na expectativa dos males que devem sobrevir a toda a Terra. As próprias forças dos céus serão abaladas. Então verão o Filho do Homem vir sobre uma nuvem com grande glória e majestade. Quando começarem a acontecer estas coisas, reanimai-vos e levantai as vossas cabeças; porque se aproxima a vossa libertação.

Apocalipse 6,12-14:

Depois vi o Cordeiro abrir o sexto selo; e sobreveio então um grande terremoto. O sol se escureceu como um tecido de crina, a lua tornou-se toda vermelha como sangue e as estrelas do céu caíram na terra, como frutos verdes que caem da figueira agitada por forte ventania. O céu desapareceu como um pedaço de papiro que se enrola e todos os montes e ilhas foram tirados dos seus lugares.

Apocalipse 16,14:

São espíritos de demónios. Fazem maravilhas, e vão até os reis de toda a Terra, a fim de reuni-los para a guerra no Grande Dia do Deus Todo poderoso. (Eis que venho como um ladrão: feliz aquele que vigia e conserva suas vestes, para não andar nu e não deixar que vejam sua vergonha!). Então os espíritos reuniram os reis no lugar que, em hebraico, se chama Armagedon.

Apocalipse 16,18-21:

Houve, então, relâmpagos, vozes e trovões, assim como um terremoto tão grande como jamais houve desde que há homens na terra. A grande cidade foi dividida em três partes, e as cidades das nações caíram, e Deus lembrou-se da grande Babilônia, para lhe dar de beber o cálice do vinho de sua ira ardente. Todas as ilhas fugiram, e montanha alguma foi encontrada. Grandes pedras de gelo, que podiam pesar um talento, caíram do céu sobre os homens. Os homens amaldiçoaram a Deus por causa do flagelo da saraiva, pois este foi terrível.

O que é a festa do São João?

Nada mais é do que a celebração da morte de João Batista.

João foi decapitado porque pregou a verdade!

Quando um ente querido morre a gente se alegra ou se entristece?

Quando celebramos o São João estamos celebrando não só a morte de João Batista, mas também a mentira e a iniquidade. Porque as pessoas que fizeram isso com ele tinha tal prática. E colocaram está data, justamente porque era aniversário de Herodes, ao qual acatou um desejo da sua enteada, e deu a ordem de decapitar João.

O ato de fazer a fogueira e pular, vem de celebrações pagãs. Que celebravam e ainda celebram aos deuses estranhos. E em algumas ocasiões jogavam crianças nas fogueiras para sacrificar ao deus Moloque, dai vem a "tradição" pular fogueira.

O que me entristece é ver as pessoas que dizem servir a Deus, se deixando levar e levando o seu rebanho a festejar essas festas mundanas.

Agora tem um tal de "não tem nada haver" e "o que é que tem" tomando a boca de muito cristão. Que para dizer que é uma festa diferente dizem: carnaval gospel, arraiá gospel, etc.

Vigiemos! JESUS ESTÁ VOLTANDO!! E ELE É SANTO! NÃO SE CORROMPA COM AS COISAS DESTE MUNDO. Crescei na graça e no conhecimento!

AQUELE QUE AMA MAIS O MUNDO E TUDO O QUE NELE HÁ, CRIA INIMIZADE COM DEUS!!
