 🚨 Watch out! Satan 👹 wants to use the ordeal to keep you away from God!!!

There are situations in the life of a righteous, faithful, God-fearing Christian who deviates from evil, where his faith, at some point, will be put to the test. As it happened with Job: Satan can come before God and challenge God to put us to the test: Take this or that away from him and see if he will not blaspheme against You and, God allows to show Satan that the righteous servant, faithful, God-fearing, and shunning evil, will remain true to his love for God. Something can be taken from the servant of God (children, father, mother, health, riches, family, work, home, emotional balance, stability, plans, dreams, future, communion with God). Satan's goal is to separate us from the Creator. He wants us to be angry with the Creator. We cannot allow it! May we learn from Job to love God for who he is and not only for what he gives.

Job 1:1-22

1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and this man was blameless, upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

2 And there were born to him seven sons and three daughters.

3 And his cattle were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred asses; there were also very many servants in his service, so that this man was greater than all those from the east.

4 And their children went to one another's houses and feasted each one in turn; and they sent and invited their three sisters to eat and drink with them.

5 It came to pass, therefore, that when the course of the days of their feasting was ended, Job sent and sanctified them, and rose early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, Perhaps my children have sinned, and have cursed God in their hearts. So did Job continually.

6 And on a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, Satan also came among them.

7 Then the Lord said to Satan, Where do you come from? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going around the earth, and walking about in it.

8 And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil.

9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Does Job fear God for nothing?

10 Have you not fenced in him, and his house, and all that he has? Thou hast blessed his handiwork, and his cattle have increased in the land.

11 But stretch out your hand, and touch everything that he has, and you will see if he does not blaspheme you to your face.

12 And the Lord said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your hand; only against him do not stretch out your hand. And Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

13 And there came a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house,

14 That a messenger came to Job, and said unto him, The oxen were plowing, and the asses were feeding beside them;

15 And the Sabeans came upon them, and took them, and smote the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone escaped to bring you the news.

16 While he was still speaking, another came and said, The fire of God fell from heaven, and burned the sheep and the servants, and consumed them, and I alone escaped to bring you the news.

17 While he was still speaking, another came and said, “The Chaldeans commanding three troops, they fell upon the camels, and took them, and smote the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone escaped to bring you the news.

18 While he was still speaking, another came and said, "Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house,

19 Behold, a great wind came upon them from beyond the desert, and hit the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they died; and I alone escaped to bring you the news.

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshipped.

21 And he said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither; the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away: blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with any fault.

Remember if:

Hebrews 12:5-11

5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that pleads with you as children: My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, And do not faint when you are rebuked by him;

6 For the Lord corrects what he loves, And he scourges everyone he accepts as a son.

7 If you endure correction, God treats you like children; because, what son is there whom the father does not correct?

8 But if you are without discipline, of which all are made partakers, then you are bastards and not children.

9 Furthermore, we had our fathers according to the flesh to correct us, and we revered them; shall we not much more subject ourselves to the Father of spirits, that we may live?

10 For those, indeed, for a little while corrected us as they pleased; but this one, for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 And, indeed, all chastening, at present, does not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, but afterward produces the peaceable fruit of righteousness in those exercised by it.

JESUS CALM THE STORM!

This is often how we feel... in the middle of a storm, scared by the strong waves and contrary winds and even with the risk of death. Risk of the end of our dreams, the end of hope. Let us remember that we have Jesus to help us

  Jesus calms the storm

(Mt 8.18, 23-27; Lk 8.22-25)

35 As evening fell, Jesus said to his disciples: “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they got into the boat where he was already and started across, although other boats followed. 37 But immediately such a storm arose, with a gale and waves breaking against the boat, that it was already full of water.

38 Meanwhile, Jesus was sleeping, lying in the stern, with his head on a pillow. Restless, they woke him up, shouting: "Master, don't you worry that we are about to die?" 39 He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Be still!” The wind stopped and there was a great calm. 40 And he said to them, “Why were you so afraid? Do you still not have faith?”

41 And taken with great astonishment, they asked one another, “But who is this, whom the wind and the sea obey?”

REMAIN IN JESUS AND YOU WILL BE FRUIT!

 JESUS SAID: REMAIN IN ME AND I WILL REMAIN IN YOU...

John 15:1-27

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away; and every plant that bears fruit, that it may bear more fruit.

3 You are already clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you; as the branch of itself cannot bear fruit unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in me.

5 I am the vine, you are the branches; who is in me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; because without me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone is not in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.

9 As the Father loved me, I also loved you; remain in my love.

10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

11 I have told you this so that my joy may remain in you and your joy may be complete.

12 This is my commandment: That you love one another, just as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.

15 I will no longer call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because everything I heard from my Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

17 This I command you: Love one another.

18 If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own, but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.

21 But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake, because they do not know him who sent me.

22 If I had not come or spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.

23 He who hates me hates my Father also.

24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else has done, they would have no sin; but now they saw them and hated me and my Father.

25 But it is to fulfill the word that is written in their law: They hated me without a cause.

26 But when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify of me.

27 And you also will testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord.

For he will be like a tree planted by the waters, which puts out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when the heat comes, but its leaf remains green; and in the year of drought it does not become weary, nor fails to bear fruit.

Jeremiah 17:7,8

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers.

Before he takes his delight in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night.

For he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season; his leaves will not wither, and whatever he does will prosper.

Not so the wicked; but they are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Psalms 1:1-6

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is a time to remember that God sent his only Son to earth to die on a Cross for our sins...

Christmas is a time to give thanks for the hope of having Jesus...

Christmas is a time to reflect and understand the message of Jesus: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17)

And then Jesus is knocking at his door. You open?

PAGANISM IN THE CHURCH! DON'T DO THINGS FOR FASHIONS... UNDERSTAND THE MEANING!

 The so-called “Christmas Tree” has a remote origin in the Babylonian religion, being used to represent Tammuz, a name that means “shoot, shoot”, and which is a clear falsification of the true Messiah, the “shoot/shoot” (Hebrew: netser) of Yishai (Jesse) mentioned in Isaiah 11:1.

Ancient coins have been found depicting a tree stump (representing the dead Nimrod) and a small tree growing nearby (Tammuz). The idolatrous Israelites performed their rituals under trees:

“...yet on every high hill and UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE YOU WALK BROWING UP AND WHOLORYING YOURSELVES.” Jeremiah 2:20

“Only acknowledge your iniquity, which you have transgressed against YHWH your God; AND YOU HAVE EXTENDED YOUR WAYS TO STRANGERS, UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE, AND YOU HAVE NOT HEARDED MY VOICE, SAYS YHWH.” Jeremiah 3:13

It was also the custom of the apostate Hebrews to decorate the tree for the worship of idols:

“(...) Because the customs of the nations are despicable;

Because the FOREST TREE he cuts down, the work of the hands of an ax worker.

WITH SILVER AND WITH GOLD HE DECORATES IT…” (literal translation of Jeremiah 10:3-4, directly from the Hebrew).

In the text above, it is not clear whether there was a cult to the tree itself or to the idol arising from it. For some scholars, the quoted passage refers to decorating the tree for idolatrous purposes (see “All About Christmas 2,000 BCE to Date”, written by Ed Stevens and edited by James Trimm).

Ed Stevens and James Trimm teach that the Egyptians used palm trees and the Romans PINE trees for the worship of their gods, which later resulted in the “Christmas Tree” (“All About Christmas 2,000 BCE to Date”, written by Ed Stevens and edited by James Trimm).

The use of trees for idolatrous purposes has a remote origin in Babylonian religion. Many Hebrews even performed profane cults under trees, as well as decorating them in honor of the gods. A similar custom was observed by the Egyptians and the Romans. All of this ended up being syncretized in the Christmas Tree.

GOD AND THE ENEMY ARE WATCHING!!!

THINK ABOUT IT - "My dad can't see...

My mom isn't watching...

My leader is not watching...

My pastor is not watching...

My wife, my husband are not seeing...”

"God is watching and so is the devil, and he doesn't play at being the devil"!

“Technology can be a blessing, but it can also be a curse if we don't have control...” (Débora Menezes).

*Posted by Júlio César Prado

It is impossible for any Christian who spends his nights, month after month, week after week, day after day watching the top shows: soap operas, Big Brother (BBB), movies and shows, to develop a Christian mind.

My advice? Stop watching television and cut off cable, especially Netflix. A young couple a few days ago confessed: “We canceled cable TV because we want to have time to study the Bible and read the books that will help us develop a Christian mind. The husband said: I can't control the television, I'm spending almost all my time indoors watching TV. We have radically decided to cancel cable TV.”

In an article published on the website Observatório da Imprensa, journalist and Doctor of Philosophy, Orlando Tambosi wrote that “the market war drags the television networks more and more towards vulgarity, obscenity, rudeness, the exploitation of sex and violence , without distinction of public and time”. Rede Globo's nine o'clock soap operas are totally diabolical. When you sit in the living room to watch soap operas, a legion of demons (fallen angels) accompanies you and your guardian angel turns away completely. Christians who await the return of Jesus should never watch soap operas and other TV programs because we are living in the end times.

The eroticization of the Internet is a more real phenomenon than one might imagine at first glance. International surveys show that one third of Internet accesses are made by people looking for some kind of virtual sexual activity. These include visits to "sites" with explicit sexual content and endless hours spent in so-called erotic chat rooms. The phenomenon has behavioral implications and a surprising economic implication. On the behavioral side, experts are frequently diagnosing Internet sex addiction, which ruins marriages and alienates people from normal relationships.

In Brazil, psychologists already receive patients complaining about spending 14 hours a week in front of the screen in search of virtual erotic adventures. They can't kick the habit without expert help. In exchange for virtual pleasure, many people completely lose contact with reality and need special care to get rid of the disease – just like drug addicts - As the network expands at breakneck speed, the problem tends to take on an ever-increasing dimension. bigger time.

TV and the Internet, little by little anesthetize the spiritual conscience and predispose us to the most corrupt things. If Heaven is our destination, if that's where we want to go, then we need to make radical changes that will help our spouse and children get to Heaven. Please, dear wives, don't go to sleep leaving your husband alone on the internet. The man is generally defined as a “nocturnal animal” he needs the help of a wise wife who takes him to bed earlier. “Right thoughts, and pure and holy purposes, do not come to us spontaneously, we have to fight for them” (Counsels on Health, pg. 291).

We will never have a Christian mind without reading our Bible daily with meditation. Because? Because we cannot be profoundly influenced by something we do not know and have not experienced. The apostle John, who at first was known as the “son of thunder” because of his temper, but who later became known as the “disciple of love”, gives us the hint of victory: “What was from the beginning, the what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at, and our hands have touched of the Word of Life... this we proclaim to you” (1 John 1:1, 3).

By beholding Jesus in the gospels, assimilating His character and mind through prayerful study of the Bible, our minds begin to like what Jesus likes, and the evil desires of human nature lose their hold on us. It works like a daily download of the heavenly program that is downloaded by the Holy Spirit and implanted in our minds. This heavenly program is called: The Mind of Jesus! The Holy Spirit communicates the Mind of Jesus to us, not in a day, or in a month, but during a lifetime. It's an ongoing, daily process that doesn't happen by miracle, but by fellowship alone with God and His Word. The mind of Jesus is a very heavy file that contains all of His character traits and temperament developed during His 33 years of earthly life. This heavenly download is slow and our mind, our hard disk, would not support something faster, however, it can be speeded up or delayed, and even interrupted, depending on the frequency of this communion.

“It is in good thoughts that the only safety for every soul lies. Man 'as he thinketh in his soul, so is he' (Proverbs 23:7). The faculty of mastering develops through exercise. What seemed difficult at first becomes easy by constant repetition, until pure thoughts and actions become habitual” (Counsels on Health, p. 295).

We need to develop selective awareness. “God does not want us to hear all there is to hear, nor to see all there is to see. It is a great blessing to close our ears so that we do not hear, and our eyes so that we do not see” (Mind, Character and Personality, p. 332) (Photo: Disclosure).

TRIALS...

 Because it hurts?

It is necessary…

When Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery by his brothers, he suffered innumerable pains; humiliated, slandered, arrested... his pain favored not only him, but countless people, including those who led him to suffering.

After his father Jacob died, his brothers were afraid that Joseph would take revenge on them.

What did he say?

You meant evil against me, but GOD meant it for good, to make it as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20

Paul suffered a lot for the sake of the Gospel of CHRIST, that is, to take the teachings of JESUS.

So that for Paul not to exalt himself, he was given through Satan, a thorn in the flesh; he pleaded with the LORD three times that this thorn be taken away from him.

What was the answer?

My grace is sufficient for you, because My strength is made perfect in weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9a

  Nobody likes to be in pain; but for the greater good, it may be necessary, for the benefit of the life of one, and many...

  Joseph and Paul teach us with the pain of suffering:

  After Joseph's humiliations and pains, he was exalted;

  Joseph's pain benefited his family and other nations;

  Humiliation and pain put the person in a place of total dependence on GOD;

  There are useful and necessary pains;

  Pains will bring benefits to the sufferer, and to others;

  Do not beg the LORD to remove the thorn that causes pain;

  The thorn reminds you that the grace of the LORD JESUS is sufficient;

  His strength perfects us in our immense weakness.

  Paul suffered to bring the Gospel to humanity.

  Let's endure the pain of thorns, to generate miracles and benefits in our lives, and in other people's lives?

His grace is sufficient for us!

IT'S BETTER SUFFER NOW

God's children are continually corrected and disciplined by Him, to teach them the truth, purify their faith, teach resilience and detach their hearts from this world.

The others are left to the passions of their hearts, to the mistakes and lies common to men and even enjoy an apparently peaceful and trouble-free life. However, in that sinful slumber they will be taken suddenly and judged and justly condemned for their sins.

Happy is he whom the Lord rebukes and disciplines like a son.
