_if I only think about being a Christian out of fear, superstition and self-indulgence._

_It will be useless to say_

_"your kingdom come"_

_if I find life here so seductive, full of_ _superfluities and frivolities._

_It will be useless to say_

_"thy will be done_ _here on earth as it is in heaven"_

_if deep down I really want all my wishes to come true._

_It will be useless to say_

_"Give us this day our daily bread"_

_if I prefer to accumulate riches, despising my brothers who go hungry._
