²⁴ For Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made with hands, a figure of the true one, but into heaven itself, to now appear before the face of God for us;

²⁵ Nor also to offer himself many times, as the high priest enters the sanctuary every year with the blood of another;

²⁶ Otherwise, it would have been necessary for him to suffer many times since the foundation of the world. But now at the end of the age he has once appeared, to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²⁷ And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment,

²⁸ Even so Christ, offering himself once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who wait for him for salvation
