WHO LOVES
THE FATHER, LOVES THE SON
JOHN 5:
16-47
Jesus
declares himself to be the Son of God and equal to the Father
16 And for
this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did
these things on the sabbath day.
17 And
Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work also.
18 So the
Jews sought to kill him, because not only did he break the Sabbath, but he also
said that God was their own Father, making himself equal with God.
19 But
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son
himself can do nothing if he do not come to do the Father; for whatsoever he
doeth, the Son doeth likewise.
20 For the
Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all that he doeth; and he will show you
greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 For as
the Father raiseth the dead, and quickeneth them: so also the Son quickeneth
them whomsoever he will.
22 And the
Father judgeth no man, but hath given all judgment to the Son;
23 That all
may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the
Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
24 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent
me, hath everlasting life, and shall not enter into condemnation, but is gone
from death unto life.
25 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall
hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.
26 For as
the Father hath life in himself, even so hath he given to the Son to have life
in himself;
27 And he
gave him the power to exercise judgment, for he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel
not at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his
voice.
29 And
those who have done good will come forth to the resurrection of life; and those
who have done evil for the resurrection of damnation.
30 I can
not do anything of myself. As I hear, so I judge; and my judgment is just,
because I seek not my will, but the will of the Father who sent me.
31 If I
testify of myself, my testimony is not true.
32 There is
another who testifies about me, and I know that the testimony he gives of me is
true.
33 You sent
messengers to John, and he bore witness to the truth.
34 But I
receive not the testimony of a man; but I say this, that you may be saved.
35 He was
the lamp that burned and brightened, and you wanted to rejoice a little while
with its light.
36 But I
have a greater testimony than that of John; for the works which the Father hath
given me to do, the same works that I do, testify of me, which the Father hath
sent me.
37 And the
Father who sent me, he himself testified of me. You have never heard his voice,
nor seen his opinion.
38 And his
word abideth not in you, for in him whom he hath not believed.
39 You
search the Scriptures, for you yourselves have eternal life in them, and it is
they who testify of me;
40 And you
do not want to come to me to have life.
41 I
receive not the glory of men;
42 But I
know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43 I have
come in the name of my Father, and you do not accept me; if another comes in
his own name, you will accept it.
44 How can
you believe, receiving honor from one another, and not seeking the honor that
comes from God alone?
45 Do not
think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one accusing you, Moses,
in whom you hope.
46 For if
ye believed Moses, ye would believe in me; for he wrote of me.
47 But if
you do not believe in his writings, how will you believe my words?
I JOHN 5:
9-13
9 If we
receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the
testimony of God is this, which he testified of his Son.
10 He that
believeth on the Son of God hath the testimony in himself; He that believeth
not a liar hath done it to God, because he hath not believed in the testimony
which God of his Son hath given.
11 And this
is the testimony: that God gave us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.
12 He that
hath the Son hath life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 These
things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that
ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe the name of the
Son of God.
JESUS
WILL COME BACK ...
DANIEL 12:
1-2
The last
times: the sealed words
1 And at
that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, that standeth up for the
children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation unto that time (THE GREAT TRIBULATION); but at that
time thy people shall be delivered, every one that is found written in the
book.
2 And many
of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall rise, some to everlasting
life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

THESSALONIANS 4: 13-18
About the
Resurrection and the Coming of Christ
13 But I do
not want you, brethren, to be ignorant of them that sleep, that ye sorrow not,
as the rest have no hope.
14 For if
we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even to them that sleep in Jesus,
God will bring them again with him.
15 And we
say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto
the coming of the Lord shall not precede them that sleep.
16 For the
Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God; and those who died in Christ will rise
first.
17 Then we
who are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18
Therefore comfort one another with these words.

THESSALONIANS 2: 1-8
The coming
of Christ will be preceded by manifestations of the Antichrist
1 Now,
brethren, we beseech you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our
meeting with him,
(TWO EVENTS
IN ONE)
2 That ye
be not easily moved out of your mind, neither be dismayed, either by spirit or
by word, or by epistle, as by us, as though the day of Christ were near.
3 Let no
man deceive you by any means; because it will not be so unless apostasy comes
first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 Who
opposeth, and riseth up against all that is called God, or worshipeth; so that
he will sit, like God, in the temple of God, wanting to look like God.
5 Do you
not remember that these things were saying to you while I was yet with you?
6 And now
ye know that which hinder him, that he may be made manifest in his own time.
7 For the
mystery of lawlessness worketh; there is only one who now resists until the
middle is taken away;
8 And then
shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall melt by the breath of his
mouth, and he shall utterly destroy for the splendor of his coming;
I
CORINTHIANS 15: 51-58
51 Behold,
I say unto you a mystery; Verily, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed;
52 In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this
which is corruptible, let it be of incorruption, and let this which is mortal
be of immortality.
54 And when
that which is corruptible shall put on incorruption, and that which is mortal
shall be clothed with immortality, then shall the word that is written
fulfilled: Death was swallowed up in victory.
55 Where, O
death, is your sting? Where is thy victory, O hell?
56 Now the
sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But
thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast and constant, always abundant in
the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
