Without the "Day of Resurrection", we would have NO HOPE!
Our faith would be in vain...
The eternal state of our souls would have remained in a perpetual state of sin....
Jesus' body would still be in the borrowed tomb...
BUT THANK YOU, while Peter was preaching on the Day of Pentecost, less than 90 days after he denied that he knew Jesus, he NOW stands before the same crowd and says in Acts 2:24:
"But God raised Him from the dead, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in His power."
Yes my friends, as Jesus said on the cross, "PAID IN FULL"....
The price for our sins had indeed been paid by His sacred blood!
And IT is coming with the greatest promise you or I could ever receive when Jesus said,
"After a little while the world will see me no more, but you will see me; because I live, you will live also."
(John 14:19)
