YOU NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH: YOU NEED THE SON TO HAVE THE FATHER AND REMEMBER: JESUS WILL COME BACK ...

WHO LOVES THE FATHER, LOVES THE SON

JOHN 5: 16-47

Jesus declares himself to be the Son of God and equal to the Father

16 And for this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on the sabbath day.

17 And Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work also.

18 So the Jews sought to kill him, because not only did he break the Sabbath, but he also said that God was their own Father, making himself equal with God.

19 But Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son himself can do nothing if he do not come to do the Father; for whatsoever he doeth, the Son doeth likewise.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all that he doeth; and he will show you greater works than these, that you may marvel.

21 For as the Father raiseth the dead, and quickeneth them: so also the Son quickeneth them whomsoever he will.

22 And the Father judgeth no man, but hath given all judgment to the Son;

23 That all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not enter into condemnation, but is gone from death unto life.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.

26 For as the Father hath life in himself, even so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

27 And he gave him the power to exercise judgment, for he is the Son of man.

28 Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice.

29 And those who have done good will come forth to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil for the resurrection of damnation.

30 I can not do anything of myself. As I hear, so I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my will, but the will of the Father who sent me.

31 If I testify of myself, my testimony is not true.

32 There is another who testifies about me, and I know that the testimony he gives of me is true.

33 You sent messengers to John, and he bore witness to the truth.

34 But I receive not the testimony of a man; but I say this, that you may be saved.

35 He was the lamp that burned and brightened, and you wanted to rejoice a little while with its light.

36 But I have a greater testimony than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to do, the same works that I do, testify of me, which the Father hath sent me.

37 And the Father who sent me, he himself testified of me. You have never heard his voice, nor seen his opinion.

38 And his word abideth not in you, for in him whom he hath not believed.

39 You search the Scriptures, for you yourselves have eternal life in them, and it is they who testify of me;

40 And you do not want to come to me to have life.

41 I receive not the glory of men;

42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

43 I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not accept me; if another comes in his own name, you will accept it.

44 How can you believe, receiving honor from one another, and not seeking the honor that comes from God alone?

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one accusing you, Moses, in whom you hope.

46 For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe in me; for he wrote of me.

47 But if you do not believe in his writings, how will you believe my words?

I JOHN 5: 9-13

9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, which he testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the testimony in himself; He that believeth not a liar hath done it to God, because he hath not believed in the testimony which God of his Son hath given.

11 And this is the testimony: that God gave us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe the name of the Son of God.

JESUS WILL COME BACK ...

DANIEL 12: 1-2
The last times: the sealed words

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, that standeth up for the children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation unto that time (THE GREAT TRIBULATION); but at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that is found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall rise, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

I THESSALONIANS 4: 13-18

About the Resurrection and the Coming of Christ
13 But I do not want you, brethren, to be ignorant of them that sleep, that ye sorrow not, as the rest have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even to them that sleep in Jesus, God will bring them again with him.
15 And we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them that sleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and those who died in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

II THESSALONIANS 2: 1-8

The coming of Christ will be preceded by manifestations of the Antichrist
1 Now, brethren, we beseech you, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our meeting with him,
(TWO EVENTS IN ONE)
2 That ye be not easily moved out of your mind, neither be dismayed, either by spirit or by word, or by epistle, as by us, as though the day of Christ were near.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means; because it will not be so unless apostasy comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 Who opposeth, and riseth up against all that is called God, or worshipeth; so that he will sit, like God, in the temple of God, wanting to look like God.
5 Do you not remember that these things were saying to you while I was yet with you?
6 And now ye know that which hinder him, that he may be made manifest in his own time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness worketh; there is only one who now resists until the middle is taken away;
8 And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall melt by the breath of his mouth, and he shall utterly destroy for the splendor of his coming;

I CORINTHIANS 15: 51-58

51 Behold, I say unto you a mystery; Verily, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed;
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this which is corruptible, let it be of incorruption, and let this which is mortal be of immortality.
54 And when that which is corruptible shall put on incorruption, and that which is mortal shall be clothed with immortality, then shall the word that is written fulfilled: Death was swallowed up in victory.
55 Where, O death, is your sting? Where is thy victory, O hell?
56 Now the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast and constant, always abundant in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord.

WHERE HAVE YOUR FLESH HAD TAKEN YOU?

NOT TO THE DESIRES OF MEAT ...

The works of the flesh and the fruits of the Spirit
16 But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts after the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and they oppose one another, that you may not do as you wish.
18 But if ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 For the works of the flesh are manifest, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, emulations, wrath, warfare, dissensions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, gluttonies, and such like, about which I tell you, as I said before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.
23 There is no law against these things.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with their passions and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be covetous of boasting, provoking one another, envying one another.

Brothers, you were called to freedom. But do not use the freedom to give occasion to the will of the flesh; rather, serve one another through love. Galatians 5:13

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Galatians 5:24

For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the display of goods-is not from the Father, but from the world.
1 John 2:16

For when we were controlled by the flesh, the sinful passions awakened by the Law acted in our body, so that we bore fruit unto death.
Romans 7: 5

Now the works of the flesh are manifest: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before: Those who practice these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Galatians 5: 19-21

"Watch and pray that you do not fall into temptation. The spirit is ready, but the flesh is weak."
Matthew 26:41

Therefore I say: Live by the Spirit, and in no way satisfy the desires of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, but that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3: 6

The Spirit gives life; the flesh produces nothing to be enjoyed. The words I said are spirit and life.
John 6:63

So I find this law that works in me: When I want to do good, evil is with me. I delight in the Law of God in the depths of my being; but I see another law acting on the limbs of my body, warring against the law of my mind, becoming a prisoner of the law of sin that works in my limbs.
Romans 7: 21-23

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds turned to what the flesh desires; but he who lives according to the Spirit has his mind turned to what the Spirit desires. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mentality of the Spirit is life and peace; the mind of the flesh is God's enemy because it does not submit to the Law of God, nor can it. Whoever is dominated by the flesh can not please God.
Romans 8: 5-8

However, you are not under the dominion of the flesh, but of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
Romans 8: 9

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit they cause the acts of the body to die, they shall live, for all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
Romans 8: 13-14

He who sows to his flesh of the flesh will reap destruction; but he who sows to the Spirit of the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Galatians 6: 8

Therefore, now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the Law was unable to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did, sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, that the just requirements of the Law might be fully satisfied in us, that we live not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8: 1-4
